If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) on November 24th, you'll know it was LwL's 6th birthday.
Yes, I began writing LwL six (6) years ago.
When I began writing LwL, it wasn't just on an ordinary day. I began writing it, on my birthday.
Yes, LwL's birth occurred on my birthday!
Being on Facebook (FB), it's usually a busy day for me. As it was this year.
Over 500 people commented on my FB wall/timeline, wishing me Happy Birthday! Plus, many, many, many people privately messaged me (PM'd). Some people call this... chatting.
Something else kept me busy though. My daughter P invited me for dinner!
It was such a wonderful time! Thank you, P!
Knowing that I enjoy Mexican food, P made tacos for dinner! Plus, I had brought a few tortillas that I had filled with a Mexican filling that I had at home (I'll discuss this another time).
After our meal... we enjoyed some birthday cake! :)
P, her boyfriend K and her sons (my grandsons) Z and S, enjoyed all this time and delicious treats with me. Of course, they also made me feel wonderful by singing Happy Birthday to me, before I made a wish and blew out the candles!
It was nice receiving birthday presents. However, it was so much nicer spending time with my some of my family members.
Spending time with them made me feel wonderful. Not just because we enjoyed food, together and celebrated.
But, mainly because it made me feel loved.
Thinking about love, made me think of 1 Corinthians 13:13, "And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity."
Charity... is love. Just as you read, in various other versions of God's Word, the Bible.
Feeling loved, made me feel the best I have felt, in a very long time. What a blessing!
Thank you, P. Thank you, my family members who showed me love.
May God bless each of you!
Until next time...
