Regarding...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), from time to time I discuss issues happening, in this day and age. Today, is one of those days.

There are times when we seem to go without hearing about things happening in Israel.

There are other times when we hear about things happening there.

No matter what, it seems there are those who care and don't care. Some want Israel to survive. Others, don't.

The main group of people who don't want Israel to survive, are Muslims.

Why?

Because Islam teaches this, so that they can do away with Israel, and with all who are infidels. Like we Christians, and other infidels (people who are non-Muslim).

Some people think that Muslims are just wonderful people, over in Israel.

Some may be correct about that. While others are not.

Here is an article by FrontPageMag entitled, Here's a Brief List of Muslim Arson Attacks on Israeli Jews This Week. Here is a link, so you can read the article: http://www.frontpagemag.com/point/259649/heres-brief-list-muslim-arson-attacks-israeli-jews-daniel-greenfield#.VbuOQ4Oo1aQ.facebook.

When I read this article, I wasn't surprised. Even though I had not ever before read about things like this, I had heard about similar things, elsewhere.

Something worse may be happening, though.

You can read about it, in another article. It was by The New York Times entitled, U.N. Moves to Lift Iran Sanctions After Nuclear Deal, Setting Up A Clash In Congress. Check it out, here: http://www.nytimes.com/2015/07/21/world/middleeast/security-council-following-iran-nuclear-pact-votes-to-lift-sanctions.html?_r=0.

Hopefully, you can see that things in this world are truly awful, these days.

After all, if Iran is able to have full self-control over nuclear systems, then no one will be able to stop them from attacking Israel.

It seems that the world has changed so very much. At least, here in the western part of the world.

In the past, Christianity was alive and well. Supporting Israel has always been a part of it.

Today, it seems to be different.

It seems there are more and more people who are refusing to support Israel. Even though God told us to do so.

Whenever I speak up, it seems that many agree. But, it also seems that many do not.

Sometimes, I am condemned. Sometimes, not.

Even so, I speak up. For, I don't believe we should remain silent.

Much like we read, in Psalm 83:1-18 (NKJV), "Do not keep silent, O God!
Do not hold Your peace,
And do not be still, O God!
For behold, Your enemies make a tumult;
And those who hate You have lifted up their head.
They have taken crafty counsel against Your people,
And consulted together against Your sheltered ones.
They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation,
That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.”

For they have consulted together with one consent;
They form a confederacy against You:
The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites;
Moab and the Hagrites;
Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek;
Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;
Assyria also has joined with them;
They have helped the children of Lot. Selah
Deal with them as with Midian,
As with Sisera,
As with Jabin at the Brook Kishon,
10 Who perished at En Dor,
Who became as refuse on the earth.
11 Make their nobles like Oreb and like Zeeb,
Yes, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,
12 Who said, “Let us take for ourselves
The pastures of God for a possession.”
13 O my God, make them like the whirling dust,
Like the chaff before the wind!
14 As the fire burns the woods,
And as the flame sets the mountains on fire,
15 So pursue them with Your tempest,
And frighten them with Your storm.
16 Fill their faces with shame,
That they may seek Your name, O Lord.
17 Let them be confounded and dismayed forever;
Yes, let them be put to shame and perish,
18 That they may know that You, whose name alone is the Lord,
Are the Most High over all the earth."

Just as we read in today's verses, I will continue to ask God to not keep silent. Just as He prefers us to not be.

As you read, there are many who refuse Him, and frighten others.

Am I worried about this? No.

God is in control.

He has already told us that life won't be easy. And, it's not. At least not for everyone. Especially, those who are His children.

Are you His child?

Are you trusting in Jesus Christ, for your salvation... just as God arranged for us to do?

If not, I feel badly for you. For, you will suffer for eternity in Hell, after your life here on earth, ends. And, you won't have any way of changing that.

If so, I am so very happy for you! This means that you will be in Heaven for eternity. Along with me!

Hallelujah!

Until next time...
