He Is!

Hopefully, you read yesterday's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry.  If you did, you'll know I brought my granddaughter, A with me to worship with my church family, on Sunday.

After our adult worship service was over, we made our way downstairs to our fellowship room.  There, I met up with my granddaughter, A.

As we began to enjoy lunch together, our pastor's wife, L joined us.  It was nice having her seated with us!

After a few minutes, my friend C and her friend S, arrived.  L gave up her seat and moved elsewhere, even though I suggested she stay.

When C and S arrived, they brought with them Coconut Water to share for our luncheon.  I was surprised to see that my granddaughter, A enjoyed it!  :)  Thank you, C and S!

I must admit, that it makes me happy that A likes my friend C.  She likes her so very much that she constantly talks with her.  And, they share food with each other.  :)

After our luncheon, we still sat together.  At this time, we had a meeting, where we discussed our church's events and finances, since our fiscal year ended a short time ago.

Eventually, we made our way outside.

A then wanted to show C how she can do some gymnastics.  We had a good laugh for a few minutes.

After we said goodbye to C and S, we headed to where A lives.  While there, I was able to see my grandson, J for a couple of minutes.

Off I went to see my daughter, P for a few minutes.  Then, headed home.

After being so upset upon awaking that Lord's Day morning, I felt so much better.  And, was thankful God had provided encouragement for me.

Thinking about this, brought to mind Isaiah 41:10, "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."

We need not fear, for He is with us.  He told us to be not dismayed, for He is our God.  He will strengthen us, help us, and will uphold us with the right hand of His righteousness.

For this, I am truly thankful.

Well, I won't give details.  But, when I had woken up that day, I felt rather discouraged.  Hurt.  Dismayed.  Sad.

I had looked to Him, for His love and support.  And, He gave it to me.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
