Do It!

You're probably aware, if you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday, that I went to worship with my church family.  And, so did my granddaughter, A!

I must admit, it is a wonderful time I spend worshipping!  I truly feel blessed having a church family filled with loving and caring hearts and attitudes.

Was I only at church on SONday?

Well, no.  Although I must admit, that since we now have Bible study on Tuesday evenings, I haven't been able to attend.  Not even once, through this fall season.

Between scheduled meetings and family birthdays, I've literally been busy each and every Tuesday.

Well, except for the Tuesday that my pastor was away on vacation.  Bible study didn't happen that week.

I should let you know that a church sister sat in front of me for a few moments, during our worship service on the 8th of November.

She turned around and let me know she thought I had a nice voice.  It was then, that she asked me to join the choir.

At that time, I wondered how I could do this.  Especially, since I have to drive my granddaughter, A home.

You see, the choir usually meets and practices after our worship services.

I let her know I would pray about it.  And, I did.

I've decided to let my daughter B know if/when our choir is to get together after our worship service and/or luncheons held from time to time, that I'll contact her and let her know that A will be brought home, only after we're done our choir practice time.

After all, I do want to honour and glorify God.

This made me think of 1 Corinthians 10:31, "Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God."

Yes, no matter what we do, we need to do it to the glory of God.

In the past, I had thought about volunteering to join the choir group that only sings every few weeks.  Knowing I wasn't sure if I would be wanted, I hadn't spoken with anyone about it.

But, it seems God would have me do this.  So, I will!

And, I'm thankful that He always seems to make a way where there isn't one.

For this, I'm thankful.  Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
