Like I mentioned I would do yesterday, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I went and picked up my granddaughter, A.
We headed to worship with our church family.
I must admit, that I am truly happy that A is accepted well, by those who work with children in Sunday school classes! After all, A is a busy child. :)
A absolutely loves coming with me to be with my church family. And, is always happy to say she'll come again with me, the next week.
Being the first SONday of the month, while children were still in Sunday school, we took communion.
If you know me well, you'll know this is truly something important for me to do. It's one way I can honour my Lord, Jesus Christ.
After praying together, and each time while bread and grape juice is being distributed, I pray. I pray to confess sin... and repent.
How grateful I am for God's bar of soap... 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
By confessing our sins, He is faithful and just, to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
We confess to God, when we pray this way. For, it is not necessary to ever confess to a person.
God is who will forgive us.
For this, I am thankful. And, always will be.
Until next time...
