Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I usually discuss what happens on the first Saturday of each month.

Today, I'll do that again.  Even though what I did was not the same as normal.

Normally, we single Christians in my area had an opportunity to get together at Tim Hortons, for a time of fun, food/beverages and fellowship.  But, this month was different.

For the last several months, only a few people met at Tim Hortons.

It made it difficult to feel that the group was being regrown.  Although some people did return to meet up on various occasions, some people didn't.  Only a few different people attended, monthly.

For some reason, the group didn't grow.  Why?  Only God knows.

So, even though a Facebook (FB) friend said he'd meet at Tim Horton's for a change, I let him know that he shouldn't bother.  Well, at least... as long as he was only going to try and be with the group.

Of course, he could go if he wanted to enjoy their delicious coffee and/or other tasty items!

As far as I'm concerned, the group will never again meet up.  Of course, if God wants that to change, He will make it do so.

Even so, last Saturday was a very busy day for me.  At least, it was from early in the morning, until mid-afternoon.

Just before 8:00 a.m., I arrived at the Malta United Society building, at 2520 Seminole St., here in Windsor, ON.  My friend A, who is a true artist, met me there, too!

Together, A and I took our items downstairs to the room where many tables were set up for a charity-fundraiser event was being held.  A lady, whose son had cancer, was the representative of the group being raised funds for.

Being an artist, A brought with her many beautiful paintings she made.  How gorgeous they were.  Yes, she sold many!

Me?  I did a fund-raiser for Lupus Ontario

Plus, I sold copies of the book I wrote, Love Never Fails You...

If you're interested in finding out about it, or purchasing a copy or e-copy, please click on the Shop at Amazon.com link at the top and/or bottom of this LwL entry page, to check it out.

I was grateful I was able to raise some funds for Lupus Ontario.

As you are probably aware, my youngest daughter P, has Lupus and suffers greatly.  In fact, it could end her life.

Knowing so, I do what I can to help raise funds for Lupus Ontario, so that at some point they will be able to find medical treatment and/or cure for it.

In addition, I pray.  And, trust God to protect P and provide for her every need.

Much like we read, in Mark 11:24, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."

I praise God for this verse.  For you see... God has provided thus far, for my daughter, P.

I'll continue to pray, for P and for others, who are suffering from Lupus.

To me, He's continued to answer my prayer for my daughter.  Over and over... and over, again.

For this I am grateful.  Very grateful!  And, always will be.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
