I'm happy to tell you something, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL)!
Believe it or not, I went out of town.
I'm so thankful to God, for giving me travelling mercies. Thank You, Lord!
Knowing that I will probably have surgery again before Christmas, I drove away from Windsor.
The first place I stopped at, was Milton. Unfortunately, my friends were not at home, so I left them something to let them know I had been there.
From there, I made my way to Brampton.
Just so you know, I've had a friend there for many years. Even so, I haven't been able to reach her for such a long time, that I actually wondered if she had passed away.
On previous visits, no answer happened, but this time... she answered the door! For this, I praise God! Thank You, Lord!
We had quite a conversation, together. It was wonderful to hear about her and her family. Hopefully, she felt the same.
Upon leaving my friend, I didn't head home. I made my way to visit another friend in Brampton, who knew I was dropping by.
Arriving at my friend's home, it was surprising for me to see that two (2) of her children and their families were there. We actually had a nice visit.
It was so wonderful seeing all of them. It made my heart feel so good!
From there, I drove to Guelph.
My brother B, was waiting for me. When I arrived, I gave him things I brought for him and his family.
Then, off we went for a meal, at a nearby restaurant that B adores.
We both found the food to be really good. But, to me... the time we spent in fellowship, made our time together, even better.
For this, I truly praise God!
Thinking about praising God, made me think about Psalm 103:1, "Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name."
Believe me, I truly thank God. And, bless Him. Always.
Not just because He blesses me! But to me, the trip I made was truly important.
He answered my prayer request, to allow my brother B to have the kidney transplant, that he needed for such a long time.
You see, B had both his kidneys removed several years ago. One had a tumour. The other was leaking, so both were removed.
And, he was on dialysis, daily.
I will always be grateful for what God did for my brother, B.
I will always praise Him. And, I will always love Him, for providing the healing my brother truly needed.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...
