Today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be doing something I've done from time to time. I'll discuss movies I've watched!
Most of the movies I watch are on television (TV) stations.
Of course, some are on DVD. While others are on normal stations where various shows are on daily and/or weekly. But, the majority of movies I watch are on stations like This and Movies! TV Network.
Here are a few I've recently watched:
* Two Rode Together, starring James Stewart, Richard Widmark, Shirley Jones, and more actors. Here is a link to this western film: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Two_Rode_Together. This was a good movie to watch, but it sure had a lot of sin in it. After all, a murder took place that broke my heart; sorry, I won't tell you. Watch it, yourself!
* The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc, starring Milla Jovovich, John Malkovich, Faye Dunaway, Dustin Hoffman and more actors. Here is a link to this French Historical Drama Film: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Messenger:_The_Story_of_Joan_of_Arc. To me, this was a good movie to watch, even thought there was a lot of violence in it.
* Sense and Sensibility, starring Emma Thompson, Alan Rickman, Kate Winslet and Hugh Grant. This period film is based on Jane Austen's novel. Here's a link to check it out: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sense_and_Sensibility_(film). I found this movie good to watch. I hope you enjoy it.
* My Sister Eileen, starring Janet Leigh, Jack Lemmon and Betty Garrett. Want to check it out? Click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/My_Sister_Eileen_(1955_film). Even though this is an older movie, I truly enjoyed this musical film! In fact, I've watched it a few times.
* The Notorious Landlady, starring Kim Novak, Jack Lemmon, Fred Astaire and more actors. I've enjoyed this comedy-mystery film more than once. Here's a link for you to check it out: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Notorious_Landlady. Even though this movie had a bit of mystery to it, I enjoyed the fact that there was love in the film.
Even though these films were all very different in nature, I enjoyed each of them.
While God wasn't first and foremost in each of these movies, He was there... in some ways. And, so was love... in various ways.
Thinking of this made me think of 1 John 4:8, "He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love."
Love is so important. For he that loveth not, knoweth not God... for God is love.
The most important thing in life, is love. God's love.
After all, God loved us so much even before we were born, that He created a plan of redemption for us. And, He gave His only begotten son, to us... by having Jesus come to earth, to fulfill God the Father's plan of redemption for us.
If this hadn't happened, we wouldn't be able to ever have eternal life. Not me. Not you. Not anyone.
But, because this happened, anyone who trusts in/believes upon our Lord Jesus Christ, shall be saved, and receive eternal life.
For this, I praise God! Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...

Surprise!
Before I begin today's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, I want to wish my grandson D, Happy Birthday! In addition, I also want to wish D's girlfriend W, Happy Birthday!
Surprise!
Yes, both D and W's birthdays are on the same day! Although they were born a year apart.
I must say that on the 27th, I drove across town to see my grandson A. It was A's birthday!
Even though I only saw A for a short time, I was happy to have been able to see him. And, give him his birthday present. Like I said previously... Happy Birthday, A!
Then, on the 28th, my daughter P called me.
She let me know she was having her son D, his girlfriend, W and their son, E (P's grandson, and my great-grandson) who was born this month, come for dinner.
P invited me to join them for dinner. I must admit, I was really happy about that! :)
We talked about the problem we were having to arrange a birthday celebration for D & W.
After all, W's family wants to see her and D. Plus, they have friends who want to see them and celebrate their birthdays.
So, P and I decided that since we were all getting together for dinner that evening, that we would celebrate their birthdays! Even though it was a couple days early.
I must admit, P and her boyfriend K truly did a lot of work, making dinner. But, our meal was absolutely delicious! Thank you, P and K!
Of course, we enjoyed birthday cake, too! :)
Enjoying dinner together, and singing Happy Birthday, made me feel so very good. Especially, since my grandson A had also been invited to enjoy the family dinner with us!
Yes, surprise!
Ahh.... even thinking of this now, makes my heart skip a beat. With joy... and true happiness!
You see, on my way there, I thought about how I didn't get to celebrate A's birthday, like I normally do. Even though I got to see him.
Knowing that he lives a few doors away from my daughter P, I asked God to allow A to be able to spend time with us, and possibly have dinner and celebrate.
I must admit, I never suggested it to my daughter, P.
Yet... surprise! God made it happen.
Thinking of how God answered my prayer, brought to mind John 16:24, "Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full."
Yes, I did just as we are told to do, in today's Bible verse. I had asked God. And, I received it. He provided it to happen.
And, as we read in today's Bible verse, my joy was made full. He truly filled my heart with joy, happiness and love.
For this, I am truly grateful.
Thank you, my loving daughter, P!
Not just for having me celebrate with our family members. But, also for including your nephew, my grandson, A.
I must admit, I felt truly blessed! And, oh... so thankful!
Thank You, Lord! For, my family. And, for all You do, for them, and for me!
Until next time...

Discrimination!
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I discussed how upset I was about Justin Trudeau being elected as our next Prime Minister.
Mainly, for two (2) reasons.
The reasons? Concerning the fact that he is going to allow marijuana to be legalized. And, because he has promised Muslims, that he will open the door for them to have more rights, here in Canada.
This is upsetting to me, mainly because Muslims are already fighting our governmental systems, and gaining rights, here in Canada.
Just so you know, the links I'm providing for you to check out, were all posted by friends on Facebook (FB), on the same day! Plus, a day or so earlier, I received an e-mail link that confirms what I am saying.
Jewsnews.co.il posted an article and video entitled, HOPPING MAD: A livid Swiss parliament member says it is time to remove Islam from Europe. Check it out, here by clicking on this link: http://www.jewsnews.co.il/2015/10/21/hopping-mad-a-livid-swiss-parliament-member-says-its-time-to-remove-islam-from-europe/.
To me, it was wonderful hearing this Swiss parliament member. It proved to me, that I am not alone in my thinking, about how Islam is trying to take over the world.
Later, I saw that theminorityreportblog.com posted an article and video entitled, WATCH the video and then try to tell me it is NOT an invading army of Muslim immigrants! Click on this link, to check it out: http://theminorityreportblog.com/2015/10/22/watch-the-video-then-try-to-tell-me-thats-not-an-invading-army-of-muslim-immigrants/.
If you watched the video, you'll see that what was discussed, is truthful. It is mainly Muslim men. Men, who in the video showed that they didn't listen to the police who were leading them.
Shoebat.com posted an article with video entitled, Turkey Is Sending Hundreds Of Thousands Of Muslim Terrorists Into Europe In An Islamic Invasion, While Russia Is In Syria Fighting The Islamic Terrorists And Defending Christians. Here is the link, for you to check it out: http://shoebat.com/2015/10/01/turkey-is-sending-hundreds-of-thousands-of-muslim-terrorists-into-europe-in-an-islamic-invasion-while-russia-is-in-syria-fighting-the-islamic-terrorists-and-defending-christians/.
If you watched/listened to this video, you'll know that what the title says, is true.
This truly touched me.
After all, it seems that truth was being spoken, even by an Islamic man interviewed. And, hearing about how Russia is defending Christians, blew my mind!
Thank You, Lord!
Here is an article with video, by toprightnews.com entitled, Muslim Teen Doesn't Like What This Girl Is Wearing ...Seconds Later He Does The Unthinkable: http://toprightnews.com/muslim-teen-doesnt-like-what-this-girl-is-wearing-seconds-later-he-does-the-unthinkable/.
If you clicked on that link, read the article and watched the video, you'll know that the girl was hurt. She was hit, knocked down, kicked, and truly hurt.
After seeing these articles and videos, do you think this will not happen here in Canada?
I believe it will.
In fact, it's already started here in Canada, even though terrorism hasn't managed much, since Stephen Harper's government people have managed to stop terrorist activities, in the past.
But, I believe Muslims are attacking us, in a different way. From within. Through our government legal system.
There have been various times Muslims have gained rights through education systems, and more. Just I've mentioned, in the past.
However, I recently received this YouTube video by e-mail entitled, Muslims win prayer case against Webber Academy... and feel I need to share it with you, so that you can understand what I am saying. Here is a link to it: https://www.youtube.com/embed/XELWyJeKSV0?rel=0&showinfo=0.
If you watched this video, you'll know that Muslims won the court response, determining that they were discriminated against.
Why? Because they weren't allowed to pray, while attending a school where prayer for any religion is not allowed.
Discrimination?
I believe that we Christians have been discriminated against.
Thinking about this, brought to mind 1 Corinthians 1:18, "For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God."
In the past, for so many years, we Christians have not been able to quote Bible verses in schools. Nor, have we been able to have prayer time.
Yes, we Christians have truly been discriminated against. Does this mean we Christians can take legal action and win in the court system?
To me, what has happened, truly confirms that the preaching of the cross to them that perish, is foolishness. But, to us who are saved, it is the power of God.
Just as we read, in today's Bible verse.
Hopefully, you can see that what I've been speaking up/out about, is truth.
If so, may God bless you.
Please, pray.

Sweet!
Today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I thought I would let you know about what I did, after I got home from worshipping, on SONday.
I must admit, that I was extremely tired on our Lord's Day. So, was my granddaughter, A.
In fact, she told me she wanted to have a nap. And, intended to do that, after arriving home.
My heart's desire was the same.
As you may have read in the past, I sometimes have trouble sleeping. But, lately that hasn't been the case.
I've changed my sleeping time. By doing so, I've been feeling less tired, most of the time.
The only thing is, there had been a few days before Sunday, when I not only was up late, but had to get up early. Which meant, I didn't get a full night's sleep.
In fact, I only had four and a half (4 1/2) hours sleep one (1) night. And, two and a half (2 1/2) hours sleep, another night.
So yes, I was extremely worn out. Tired. Sleepy.
Once I arrived home, I had some lunch. Then, did a few things I needed to do.
Eventually, I reached the point where I felt like I was dozing off. So, off to bed I went.
As I was laying down, I prayed. And, thought about God. And, His Word, the Bible.
This brought to mind, Proverbs 3:24, "When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet."
When we lay down, we should not be afraid. Yes, we lay down, and our sleep shall be sweet.
For this, I praise God!
You see, I did fall asleep. Quickly.
And, slept without interruption for two (2) hours! Two (2) hours!!!!
I awoke only a few minutes before my alarm was set to go off.
I must admit, that I enjoyed that sweet nap! And, am thankful to God for it!
Thank You, Lord!

All...
Before I begin today's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, I would like to wish my grandson, A... Happy Birthday! I'll look forward to seeing you, A. Spending time celebrating will be a blessing. Happy Birthday!
In yesterday's LwL entry, I quoted a Bible verse that spoke about training up a child (Proverbs 22:6).
That verse is truly important to me.
When I think about it, I reflect upon what has happened in my life.
Yes, I came to know and love Jesus, as a child.
Does this mean I was a perfect person, all my life? No.
Did I focus only on Him, and live for Him. No.
For a time, we no longer went to church. When this happened, I seemed to fall away from God.
And, with family problems and issues that truly affected my life, I didn't feel loved. Not by family, nor God, in some ways.
Did I sin? Yes.
Is this unusual for people? No.
After all, we are all sinners.
Thinking of this, reminded me of Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
Just as we just read, all have sinned. And, come short of the glory of God.
Yes, we have all sinned.
I thought about God. Even through times when I sinned in my life.
I trusted in/believed upon Jesus, always. I knew He loved me.
I eventually knew I had to refocus upon Him. And, did.
I recommitted my life to Him. And, fulfilled exactly what we read in yesterday's Bible verse.
Meaning, that after recommitting my life, I returned to loving and being obedient to His calling. So, in a way, it can be considered not departing, after being trained up as a child, in the way I needed to go.
Has this happened for you?
I pray it has.
For if so, we will some day meet. Either here on earth, or in Heaven.
Praise God!

Will Not...
As I mentioned yesterday, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I went to worship with my church family.
Something I am truly happy about, is that I'm able to bring my granddaughter A, to church with me. We don't live close to each other, but I am grateful that I can drive to pick her up, and bring her home, after she's attended Sunday School.
Once I pick her up, and we make our way to our church building, we talk together. And, sing together. Then, we play games, as we drive.
A always wants to play games like yelling about vehicle colours. She decides which colour vehicles she will look for. And, which colour I will look for; but, there are times when I'm allowed to choose which colour vehicles I will look for.
To her, it doesn't matter if it is a car, truck, or van. By playing the game, they are all called 'cars'.
So, as we drive along, she says things like... 'white car'!! Or, 'red car'!! And, I do the same with whatever colour I'm looking for.
It truly makes me feel good doing this with A. It's fun. Plus, it touches my heart, that we can do things like this, together.
In addition, it touches my heart that A is attending Sunday School. It makes me feel so good, because I truly love her.
It makes me happy that A is learning about Jesus. At some point, I pray she'll become saved... by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Thinking about her learning about Jesus, makes me happy since she is also learning about how to live her life, focusing on Jesus.
Thinking of this, reminded me of Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."
Yes, training up a child in the way he should go, is very important. For just as we read in today's Bible verse, when he is old, he will not depart from it.
This made me think about me.
When I was young, I went to Sunday school. In Detroit. In Montreal. In Clarkson (now part of Mississauga). And, in Brampton.
Yes, we moved a lot. But, even though I attended Sunday School at various churches, I learned about Jesus, myself. And, came to love Him.
For this, I will always be thankful.
Until next time...

Give...
With today being SONday, I'm letting you know here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) that I'll be heading to worship with my church family. Just as I try to do, on every Lord's Day.
Once again, I will worship in spirit and in truth. And, through music.
Like some that Don Moen recorded entitled, Give Thanks. Here is a link for you to listen and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMTmZKotTYw. The lyrics are below.
Give Thanks
Give thanks with a grateful heart
Give thanks to the Holy One
Give thanks because He's given Jesus Christ, His Son
Give thanks with a grateful heart
Give thanks to the Holy One
Give thanks because He's given Jesus Christ, His Son
And now let the weak say, "I am strong"
Let the poor say, "I am rich
Because of what the Lord has done for us"
And now let the weak say, "I am strong"
Let the poor say, "I am rich
Because of what the Lord has done for us"
Give thanks with a grateful heart
Give thanks to the Holy One
Give thanks because He's given Jesus Christ, His Son
Give thanks with a grateful heart
Give thanks to the Holy One
Give thanks because He's given Jesus Christ, His Son
And now let the weak say, "I am strong"
Let the poor say, "I am rich
Because of what the Lord has done for us"
And now let the weak say, "I am strong"
Let the poor say, "I am rich
Because of what the Lord has done for us"
Give thanks
We give thanks to You oh Lord
We give thanks
As I said in the past, from September 30th, throughout most of October, it is a very stressful time for me.
Broken-heartedness isn't easy.
Nor is pain. Physical, and from issues that affect life.
Like what happened on our Canadian election day. And, how I believe it will hurt our lives, within time.
Sometimes people think I'm just looking to my life here on earth, when I feel overwhelmed, and speak up/out. But, that's not what I do.
At times when I know things will affect my life, and speak up/out, I sometimes feel awful. But then... I look up, and thank God.
Thinking of this, made me think of Ephesians 5:20, "Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;"
Giving thanks to God our Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, is necessary.
Not just because He told us to, in His Word, the Bible. But, also because He truly loves us.
After all, God created His plan of redemption, to provide for us a way of salvation. So, that we can spend eternity with Him, in Heaven, instead of being separated from God and spending eternity in Hell, with no chance of escape.
For this, I am thankful. And, I'm thankful that our Lord, Jesus Christ came to earth to fulfill God the Father's plan of redemption.
By doing so, we now can gain salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Thankful?
Yes, I'm thankful.
Hopefully, you are also.
Until next time...

Love...
Unlike other days this week, I'll be discussing something else, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL). Movies!
As I've said in the past, I usually watch movies on television (TV), whenever I have either computer work or paperwork, to do.
Although I enjoy watching new movies, I enjoy watching any movie. Especially, older movies.
There are times when I am truly happy that movies I adore are being shown.
Sometimes, I am so happy seeing them, again. In fact, if they are available repeatedly, I will watch them, over and over again.
Thinking about some of those kinds of movies, I thought I'd list some for you:
* Daddy Long Legs, starring Fred Astaire, Leslie Caron and more actors. To read about this movie, click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daddy_Long_Legs_(1955_film). This musical comedy film is nice to watch, for various reasons. I like that it shows some of France, New York City, and smaller areas in USA.
* There's No Business Like Show Business, starring Ethel Merman, Donald O'Connor, Marilyn Monroe, Mitzi Gaynor, and more actors. Click on this link, to read about this movie: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/There%27s_No_Business_Like_Show_Business_(film). I found this musical-comedy-drama film nice to watch, for it offers a variety of feelings.
* The Grapes of Wrath, starring Henry Fonda, Jane Darwell, John Carradine, Shirley Mills and more actors. Check out this movie, by clicking on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Grapes_of_Wrath_(film). This is truly a drama film, but clearly reflects what life was like for many. Especially, during the era of the Depression.
* A Place In The Sun, starring Montgomery Clift, Elizabeth Taylor and Shelley Winters. Here is a link for you to check out this drama film: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Place_in_the_Sun_(film). Even though this is a murder story, it seems to be a reflection on life, to some people.
* Murder by Death, starring Peter Falk, Alec Guinness, David Niven, Peter Sellers, Nancy Walker and more actors. Click here to read about this movie: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_by_Death. I must admit, I've watched this mystery comedy film over and over, again. It's rather unique in nature, even though it is an older film.
* Roman Holiday, starring Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn. To read about this romantic comedy film, click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roman_Holiday. This is another movie that I have watched over, and over again. Why? It's filled with love.
* An Affair to Remember, starring Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr. Click here, to check out this romantic film: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/An_Affair_to_Remember. I must admit, this movie touches my heart, every time I watch it. Why? Because there is true love.
In all these films, there is love. Even if life isn't easy in the storyline, there is definitely love.
To me, love is so very important. Even if human love isn't always available to everyone.
Even so, thinking about love, made me think about Jesus.
Just as we read, in 1 John 4:19, "We love him, because he first loved us."
Yes, those of us who have gained salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, love Him.
But, our love didn't come first. His love did.
Jesus came to earth, to fulfill God the Father's plan of redemption for us. And, He did it. He gave His physical life, here on earth, to pay the price for our sin. And, the sin of the world, of all who will believe upon Him.
He loved us, that much.
Even though none of us had even yet been born.
How great a love He had for us.
Because of this, we can now love Him.
Hopefully, you do. For if you do, then some day we'll meet in Heaven, and honour our Lord.
Until next time...

Thank You...
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I need to let you know something, concerning remembrance.
Today, is the anniversary of my dad's death.
Although we didn't have a great relationship, I truly miss him. And, love him.
Just as I do my mom. Who is no longer here on earth, either. I truly miss her, and love her, also.
After writing about my feelings regarding what happened in our Canadian election, I must admit that I felt it was probably good that both my parents have passed away.
Of course, a thought came to mind, that if they could, they would probably turn over in their graves. Yes, I believe they probably would. That is, if they knew what could happen here in Canada, as a result of who was elected as our next Prime Minister.
Why would I think this?
Well, you need to know that my parents hadn't met each other, until after WW2 ended. But, both my dad and my mom were members of the Canadian Army.
My mom was stationed in Washington, D.C., USA. She was actually only a couple blocks away from the White House. You can actually see the White House, from where she was stationed.
My dad was stationed for a while in U.K., and spent time in both England and Northern Ireland. Once the Normandy Invasion took place, he spent time in France and Belgium, placing his life on the line, to fight against enemies.
By joining the Canadian army, both of my parents took time out of their lives, to do what they felt was right for the world. And, for God.
After all, Hitler and his Nazi's were doing what they could to try and take over Europe. In addition, what he and his supporters did, was to do a major genocide of Jewish people, and others who were against what they were doing.
The holocaust ended up killing many millions of people.
Did Hitler do this alone? No.
Many people think he did. But, he didn't.
Muslims worked with Hitler.
Don't believe me? Here is a link for you to read on Wikipedia entitled, Relations between Nazi Germany and the Arab World: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Relations_between_Nazi_Germany_and_the_Arab_world. Of course, if you are interested to read more, research on-line. Google it!
So, I believe that if my parents could turn over in their graves, they probably would. After all, our soon to be Prime Minister, has now opened the door to Islam, to receive more rights, here in Canada.
Muslims were the enemy during WW2. Much like some people believe they are, today.
The difference?
There is no WW3 happening at the moment, so they are not wearing war-type military outfits. Instead, they are doing what they can, in every country they can, to take over, dressed and acting like normal people, hiding themselves to be able to attack from within, without people knowing what they are doing and plan to do in the future. Just like they did in USA, on 9-ll.
So, in my opinion, they are literally preparing to attack from within. Just as they are now doing in various countries, especially in Europe, at this time.
As you've probably read, some countries are now speaking up/out and doing what they can to either remove Islam, or limit what Muslims can do. For this, I am truly grateful, for reading about it, made me realize that I am not alone in my thinking.
A couple of days ago, a Facebook (FB) friend shared a posting on my wall/timeline. It was by brietbart.com and was entitled, Don't Let Muslim Migrants In, Says Bulgaria's Orthodox Church: http://www.breitbart.com/london/2015/09/26/dont-let-muslim-migrants-in-says-bulgarias-orthodox-church/.
Did our soon to be Prime Minister care about what is happening elsewhere in the world? Obviously, not enough to want to protect us, here in Canada.
But, we will pay for what he plans to do. Even if it takes time, and doesn't happen immediately, we will suffer.
I must admit that even though I expect this will happen, I am grateful for God's Word, the Bible. For in it, He made it clear in many, many verses that we need to trust Him.
Thinking of this, brought to mind Joshua 1:9, "Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."
Yes, God made it clear that He is in control.
Just as we read in today's Bible verse, we were told to be strong and of good courage. We shouldn't be afraid, nor dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with us, wherever we go.
For this, I am thankful. Truly thankful.
And, I am grateful my parents are no longer here on earth. For, if they were, they would be heart-broken and terribly upset over what will probably happen, here in Canada.
After all, they gave of themselves, and did what they could, working hard, to do what God would have them do, during WW2. They, along with many others, of which some gave their lives, managed to obtain freedom for those they fought for.
For this, I will always be thankful, even if our freedom dissolves the way I believe it will in the future.
Thank you, mom. Thank you, dad. Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...

Then... and Now...
Last year, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I recall discussing what happened to Corporal Nathan Cirillo.
Corporal Nathan Cirillo was shot and killed in Ottawa, Ontario, a year ago, today.
You may recall that I wrote about him and his funeral, last year. If you'd like to read the LwL entry, click on this link: http://www.lifewithlynnie.com/2014/10/here-on-life-with-lynnie-lwl-im-letting.html.
On this evening's CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corp.) newscast, it was said that Cpl. Cirillo was being rememberd, in Hamilton.
Online, I saw an article by thespec.com entitled, Hamilton remembers Cpl. Nathan Cirillo one year later. Here's a link for you to check it out: http://www.thespec.com/news-story/5972095-hamilton-remembers-cpl-nathan-cirillo-one-year-later/.
It touched my heart that Corporal Nathan Cirillo was being remembered.
After all, he was not fighting in a war-type manner. He had been standing at the National War Memorial, on Parliament Hill, in Ottawa, last year.
But, while standing there, he was shot and killed... by a Muslim.
Here is a link posted by the National Post (and written by the Canadian Press) entitled, Michael Zihaf-Bibeau threatened to act 'in the name of Allah in response to Canadian foreign policy': source: http://news.nationalpost.com/news/canada/police-investigating-whether-michael-zehaf-bibeau-told-anyone-about-his-plans-before-ottawa-shooting.
In response to Canadian foreign policy?
Well, other Muslims won't have to attack INFIDELS (those who are not Muslim) for that reason any longer. After all, Justin Trudeau, who will soon become our Canadian Prime Minister, has promised to give Islam more rights here in Canada.
So, in the future, we can instead expect to be attacked. Much like people are being attacked in Europe. Especially, in England, where Islam/Muslims have already been given more rights.
Oh well. God told us to expect fiery trials.
Just as we read, in 1 Peter 4:12, "Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:"
We were told to think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try us, as though some strange thing happened unto us.
To me, it is truly a fiery trial that will happen once Islam is opened more, here in Canada. Muslims will want to take over Canada, the same way they want to do so in the United Kingdom (UK).
Don't believe me? Check out this YouTube video entitled, British Muslims want to take over the UK: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mlxMndnlzw.
My friend, please pray for Canada. I believe we are headed down, now.
And, please... pray for Corporal Nathan Cirillo's family and friends.
Thank you for praying. May God bless you.
Until next time...

Please...
If you've recently read entries here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), you'll know that I was concerned about our Canadian election.
If you did, you're probably aware that Monday, October 19th, was election day, here in Canada. And, you may be wondering how I am feeling, knowing that Canadians did not re-elect Stephen Harper, as Prime Minister.
It truly was disheartening to me, that Stephen Harper was not re-elected. I felt sad.
Was it surprising to me, though? Not really.
As I said in a couple previous LwL entries, I was concerned that people would be voting for Liberal leader Justin Trudeau.
Why? Not solely because they wanted a change in our governmental leadership.
People in today's society like to do drugs. Many like to smoke marijuana. And, doing so has been illegal for many, many years.
Justin Trudeau let the public know that he would make it legal to use marijuana. So, I'm sure drug users voted for him.
In addition, he also let the public know that he was in favour of allowing Islam to have more rights here in Canada. I believe he did this, to encourage Muslims everywhere in Canada to vote for Liberal candidates, so he could be elected as Prime Minister.
After Justin Trudeau won the election, on CBC Canada (Canadian Broadcasting Corp.) he gave a speech.
In it, he mentioned that prior to the election, while he was in St. Catharines, Ontario, a Muslim woman wearing hijab approached him, and handed him her daughter, so he could hold her. As he said on television (TV), the woman said she did this, because she wanted him to know that when he got elected, she would be happy, because her daughter would then be able to have all the rights, Muslims want.
In his speech, after Justin Trudeau told that story, he confirmed that Muslims would receive what they want.
Justin Trudeau also mentioned in his speech, that "angels of our nature" are here in Canada. This made me laugh, because angels that are not of God... are of the devil, Satan.
He has obviously not placed God first in his life, nor for Canada. Especially, if he is in support of Islam.
Justin Trudeau also claimed that a Canadian in Canada, is a Canadian.
In the past, I would have agreed with him. But in today's society, I do not agree.
If this was true, then why would Muslims want to change Canada, instead of being like past immigrants... like my grandparents, who all came to Canada from other countries and changed their lives, to become Canadian.
Don't believe me? Look at what is happening in Europe. And, in other countries.
Islam is doing everything possible to take over the world.
Now, Justin Trudeau has opened the door for this to happen, here in Canada.
To me, once he takes over as Prime Minister of Canada, the door will be open for perilous times. Even though he said in his speech that he will be a better Prime Minister.
Thinking about how awful Canada will become, made me think about 2 Timothy 3:1-5, "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."
Just as we read in today's Bible verses, perilous times shall come.
Men shall be lovers of themselves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God, having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof. We were told... from such turn away.
But, fellow Canadians didn't do that. They didn't turn away. They brought it in so that our future will be affected.
So we truly need prayer, now.
I must say that it was nice to hear NDP leader Thomas Mulcair give his speech. Especially since he commented about how he believed there were high expectations.
It was nice to hear Prime Minister Stephen Harper, give his speech. He commented that he had no regrets.
With Stephen Harper being a fellow Christian, I believe he also realizes that we do not have control over what will happen, here on earth. Like all of us who read God's Word, the Bible, I believe he realizes that we are truly in end times.
So my friend, please pray for Canada.
Thank you. May God bless you.
Until next time...

Truly...
As you probably realize, I can't discuss here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) the result of the election, yet.
Why? Well, here in the province of Ontario, our time zone is three (3) hours ahead of the time in the province of British Columbia.
Even so, I am a day behind in letting you know about what I did on the weekend.
As you're probably aware, my grandson T had his birthday, last Friday. I'm glad I not only wished him Happy Birthday, here on LwL, but was able to see him!
T lives with his girlfriend, S and their daughter (my great-granddaughter), S... who was born this past January.
We got together with T's mom, my daughter, B... at her home. Thank you B, for allowing each of us, to come and celebrate T's birthday. Once again, I will wish T... Happy Birthday!
On SONday, I went to worship with my church family. You're probably aware I did this. :)
Once again, I was able to go pick up my granddaughter A.
A is my five (5) year old grandchild. She is a sister to her brother T, whose birthday we celebrated on Friday!
To me, it's wonderful that I am able to bring A to Sunday School. For this means that she is coming to know and love Jesus, our Lord and Saviour.
Knowing that A is able to come to know and love our Lord, Jesus Christ, makes my heart filled with happiness. And of course, joy!
Thinking about how important my grandchildren are to me, made me think about how important children truly are to God.
Like we read, in Psalm 127:3, "Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward."
Just as we love our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, our Lord loves them, too. For they are heritage of the Lord... and they are the fruit of the womb, as His reward!
Yes, our family members are truly a blessing. Especially, when they come to know and love our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Please know that I pray for all my family members. Hopefully, you pray for yours, also.
If so, I know you'll be blessed by God!
Until next time...

Want To?
If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) last week, you'll know that I discussed some election issues.
Today, is election day. Even so, I feel the need to address some issues.
After all, some people will be voting today. Hopefully, they'll read LwL, before they do.
As in the past, I sometimes copy/paste e-mail information I've received. Today, I'll do this.
Just so you know, I have been receiving e-mail from various people who are supporting various groups running in the election.
This message I received from a Conservative party member:
Lynn,
Canada’s Conservatives have a plan to protect our economy. It involves keeping taxes low, budgets balanced, and a four-year plan to create new jobs.
With Prime Minister Harper’s leadership, we:
In another message I received, there were other reasons to vote for the Conservative Party. Here they are:
* A 20% payroll tax cut
* An enhanced universal child care benefit
* A guarantee against new tax hikes
* Expanded 18-month parental leave for new parents
* Cut taxes on small businesses from 11 to 9 percent
* Helping 700,000 become homeowners
* Boost RESP savings program for low-and middle-income families
* A permanent home renovation tax credit
In my heart, I believe that some people may not vote for the Conservative party. Some may not want to vote so that Stephen Harper, can be re-elected as our Canadian Prime Minister.
I should let you know that someone I know well, is happy that Liberal party leader, Justin Trudeau will change laws, so that people will legally be able to use marijuana.
This disgusts me, for it opens the door for people to become drug addicts. At least, that's what I've seen.
Don't believe me? Please watch this YouTube video that a friend sent me by e-mail entitled, Liberal lies about C24, deportation are "predatory propaganda": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yxmvqSRZPo.
I believe that since they expect Justin Trudeau to do as he said he would, people who like to use drugs will vote for him.
Justin Trudeau has also let people know that he will allow Muslims to have more ability to have what they want, here in Canada.
He obviously doesn't know that by doing this, he will open the door to danger, here in Canada. But, I believe most Muslims will vote so that he will be elected.
Concerning those people, I feel badly.
After all, as I said last week, Stephen Harper is Christian. And, he has participated in rescuing women and children where ISIS is kidnapping and selling them off for sex slavery.
Just so you know, our fellow Christians being treated this way, not only suffer being raped by groups of men, but then they are murdered. Yes, both women, and children.
To me, this is upsetting. But then, not everyone is Christian.
Not everyone will look to and rely upon God. But, they will pay a price for not doing so.
Much like we read, in Romans 13:2, "Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation."
Yes, we just read that those who resist God and resist his power and ordinance, shall receive to themselves... damnation.
They will pay a price, for what they have done.
But, here on earth, all the rest of us will be hurt, as well. Long before they receive damnation from God.
Please know that I am praying that Stephen Harper will be re-elected as Prime Minister, here in Canada.
At this time, whether or not this will happen, only God knows.
You see, I post LwL entries at midnight. So at this time, election time/day is not finished.
Please, let God lead you to vote. And, may God bless you, if you vote the way He would want you to.
Until next time...

With Prime Minister Harper’s leadership, we:
- Balanced the federal budget a year early -- and we are already running a budget surplus.

For...
Being our Lord's Day, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'm going to worship, once again.
Even though we will worship in spirit and in truth, I also adore worshipping through music. Just as I'm sure you know.
There is a hymn that reflects the way I've been living, just as I said last SONday.
It's a hymn by Thomas O. Chisholm and Carl Howard Lowden that's entitled, Living for Jesus. Here is a link for you to listen and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0FBooGaPsY. The lyrics for this version, are below.
You may wonder why I am again using this hymn. After all, I let you know about it, last SONday.
But, this version is different. It is actually the version that is usually sung with my church family. So, I thought I would share it with you.
Living for Jesus
Living for Jesus a life that is true
Striving to please Him in all that I do
Yielding allegiance glad hearted and free
This is the pathway of blessing for me.
Oh Jesus, Lord and Saviour I give myself to Thee
For Thou in Thy atonement didst give thyself for me
I own no other Master, my heart shall be Thy throne
My life I give henceforth to live, O Christ for Thee alone.
Living for Jesus who died in my place
Bearing on Calvary my sin and disgrace
Such love constrains me to answer His call
Follow His leading and give Him my all.
Oh Jesus, Lord and Saviour I give myself to Thee
For Thou in Thy atonement didst give thyself for me
I own no other Master, my heart shall be Thy throne
My life I give henceforth to live, O Christ for Thee alone.
Living for Jesus wherever I am
Doing each duty in His Holy Name
Willing to suffer affliction or loss
Deeming each trial a part of my cross.
Oh Jesus, Lord and Saviour I give myself to Thee
For Thou in Thy atonement didst give thyself for me
I own no other Master, my heart shall be Thy throne
My life I give henceforth to live, O Christ for Thee alone.
Living for Jesus through earth's little while
My dearest treasure the light of His smile
Seeking the lost ones He died to redeem
Bringing the weary to find rest in Him.
Oh Jesus, Lord and Saviour I give myself to Thee
For Thou in Thy atonement didst give thyself for me
I own no other Master, my heart shall be Thy throne
My life I give henceforth to live, O Christ for Thee alone.
Just as we read in the added verse and chorus of today's version of this hymn, I do each duty in His Holy Name. Meaning that whatever I do, I do for Jesus.
Also, since Jesus is my Lord and Saviour, I give myself to Him. Yes, I gave myself in the past to obtain salvation by trusting in/believing upon Him. But, I still give myself, each and every day. And, live for Him, daily.
I own no other Master, for He is my Master. My life I give henceforth to live, O Christ for Thee, alone.
As the lyrics tell us, being willing to suffer affliction or loss and deeming each trial a part of my cross, is truly how I live.
Thinking of all this, brought to mind Revelation 3:21, "To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne."
Jesus overcame at the cross.
And, we are to also do the same. For we have to burden the cross ourselves, and overcome each and every affliction, loss or trial in our lives.
While life isn't easy, God is good.
He helps us to overcome, as we walk with Him, and place Him first and foremost in our lives.
For this, I will always be grateful.
Thank You, Lord!

Must!
From time to time, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I share e-mails that I receive. Today, I will do this.
On October 14, 2015, I received this e-mail from the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ). Here's what was sent to me:
Lynn,
ISIS - the Islamic State - is raping, crucifying, and beheading Syrian Christian missionaries.
The horror is unspeakable, but we must speak out.
ISIS jihadists are now targeting Christian missionaries for public atrocities. In one Syrian town, Christian women missionaries were publicly raped.
These Christian women responded by singing and praying aloud to Jesus. Then ISIS beheaded them and crucified their dead bodies on crosses.
In another location, ISIS’s barbaric army captured Christian missionaries, including a 12-year-old boy. They crucified them – forcing a crowd to watch in horror.
At the ACLJ, we’re engaged through our international offices. We’re working in Congress as our critical recommendations are being considered in key legislation, and aggressively advocating to defend the persecuted Church and defeat ISIS.
But now is the time for your voice to be heard. ISIS must be defeated. Christians must be protected. It is our sacred duty to be heard.
Sign Our Urgent Petition: Stop the Genocide of Christians Today.
Jay Sekulow
ACLJ Chief Counsel
Yes, the horror is unspeakable, just as was written here. But, we must speak out, just as what was said on this e-mail message.
We must try and do whatever we can for those being persecuted for their faith.
I must admit that I feel badly that I am not aware of any Christian group doing in Canada, what the ACLJ is doing in USA.
Sometimes, the general public doesn't truly know what is truly happening. Or, may not understand.
Much like I've heard a lot, lately on the newscasts... by those, who think that it matters not if our government confirms that those who claim to be refugees, truly deserve refugee status.
No matter the case, there are wicked people working for ISIS. They seek to slay infidels. Meaning, they seek to slay anyone who is not Muslim.
They watch the righteous. Meaning, they watch true Christian believers. And, then attack, whenever they can.
Just as we read, in Psalm 37:32, "The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him."
God has told us so very much, in His Word, the Bible.
He has made it clear that the wicked do whatever they can to slay righteous people. People who are truly walking/living for God.
We know this will happen.
Not just because it is truly happening, at this time. But, also because God gave us the prophecy that is being fulfilled, at this time.
Even though I am a person who can be slayed, I am grateful to belong to Him.
For, if I wasn't saved by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, then I would spend eternity in Hell, separated from God, with no chance of escape.
However, because I have gained salvation, I will not have to worry. I will spend eternity in Heaven, once my life here on earth, ends.
By speaking up/out, we can then plant those seeds for Christ. This way, people can come to realize they too, need salvation.
So my friend, please... speak up/out. And, do whatever you can to help those being persecuted.

May God bless you, for doing this.
Until next time...

What Truly Matters...
Before I begin today's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, I would like to wish my grandson T, a very Happy Birthday! I'll look forward to seeing you, and celebrating your special day!
Here on LwL, I mentioned in the past that even up until this date, it would be a stressful time for me.
And, it has been. After all, it's not easy losing someone you love.
I believe that each of us who are widowed, hope and pray that grief will end. But, in my heart, I don't believe it ever does.
Not just for parents, siblings, and friends. But, in a much larger way... for your husband, or wife.
Even though we may know that our loved one may be in Heaven, no longer suffering, it isn't easy.
Have you ever met anyone who didn't want to have happiness in their life? I haven't. That is something that I believe every one of us have in common.
I've written in the past the difference between joy and happiness. Joy. True joy comes from God.
We feel this whenever we who are saved, think of God's love for us. How He sent His only begotten Son, to die for our sin and for the sin of all who will believe.
Like my fellow believers, I have true joy in my life. True joy in my Lord!
Does this mean I am always happy with the circumstances surrounding my life? No. However, even if I am enduring a horrible time in my life, I still have joy!
Leaving aside the idea of joy for a moment, let me say that I do not always feel happy.
Especially, like today.
While it is my grandson T's birthday, it is also the anniversary of my deceased husband Gordon's funeral.
Like you, I experience rough patches in life. It isn't always kind to me. Things don't always go the way I would like them to.
In fact, even now, at this moment in my life, I can say that I would prefer my life to be different than it is.
If I had my way, I would have control over issues that have affected my life. Issues that have literally made my life different than what I would have ever dreamed it would become.
But, I don't have control over life. Neither do you. We all just need to be able to make the best, with what we have.
You know what I mean. We need to be able to make lemonade to enjoy, rather than fill us with the sourness of lemons that can pucker up our lives.
If we don't make lemonade, then it is possible that we could become hardened to others. Not just our plights, but theirs, too.
That's something that God has made clear He doesn't want for us. A hardened heart. The way the Pharaoh of Egypt had, in the Old Testament.
In Galatians 5:14, we read, "For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."
Yes, we need to fulfill the law... we need to love thy neighbour as thyself.
So, does it matter if we are happy? Not really. Our lives here on earth might seem long, but in reality, are very short, when compared to eternity. Forever, is a very, very, very long time.
Aside from the fact that God loves us, and aside from the fact that Jesus loved us enough to give His life for us and sent us the Holy Spirit to guide us, what truly matters is the love we have for others. Not whether others have love for us, or not.
Until next time...

Hopefully...
Over the past couple of days, I've discussed a couple of leaders of Canadian political parties, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).
Why have I done this? Because, I believe people need to be hearing truth regarding those hoping to be elected as our Prime Minister, here in Canada.
Today, I'll be discussing some others, who are political party leaders.
Well, at least in a very nominal way.
Why nominal?
Well, the truth is, I haven't heard most of the political leaders even discuss what we need here in Canada to be done, to protect us. In fact, I haven't heard any of them speak up/out.
Of course, Bloc Quebecois Leader Gilles Duceppe is not someone I would vote for. Even if I lived in Quebec.
You may think that I have a bad attitude regarding Gilles Duceppe. But, I don't believe I do.
In fact, being born in the province of Quebec, means I believe I can speak up/out. Especially, since his political party virtually wants Quebec to separate from Canada.
Green Party Leader Elizabeth May, seems like a nice person. But, she has not spoken up about security for Canada. At least, not as far as I know, for I've never heard her do this.
As far as I know, Elizabeth May has not scheduled anything for my city... Windsor, Ontario. So, obviously she has no care and/or concern for my area.
Hopefully, you read yesterday's LwL entry, regarding Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau. Check out the entry entitled, Justin Trudeau! & Truth... http://www.lifewithlynnie.com/2015/10/justin-trudeau-truth.html.
Please know that even though I discussed in yesterday's LwL entry that Justin Trudeau is in favour of Islam, and has let Canadians know about this, he is also planning to make changes that will not only hurt our economy, but will increase taxes. At least, that's what I know from what I've heard.
NDP Leader Tom Mulcair is a party leader I would NOT vote for.
In fact, knowing that in the past I got identical information from NDP Members of Parliament (MP) who had wanted to be re-elected here in Windsor, I realized that the NDP party must have been in support of sinful things, here in Canada. After all, they both told me the same info regarding sinful issues I had e-mailed them about.
Of course, when I recently visited someone I am close to, they were upset I wouldn't vote for the NDP party.
During our conversation, I explained that Unions are in support of the NDP party. I'm not.
Why? Well, when I was injured years ago, and was a member of a union, not only did the union not help me, but I had actually contacted an NDP MP, here in Windsor. I needed help. Did I receive help? NO!
In addition, I also mentioned about them being in support of sin, and was told in response... so what?
So what? I don't want to vote for anyone who is not placing God first in their lives.
After all, God's Word, the Bible tells us that we need to place Him first, and foremost in our lives. We were told this in various parts of the Bible.
Here is a verse that shows the importance of placing God first in our lives: John 15:5, "I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing."
As we just read, He is the vine. We are the branches. Whoever abides in Him and He in them, bringeth forth much fruit: for without Him we can do NOTHING!
NOTHING.
Is this what you want? If so, then vote for someone who does not focus on God.
If you want God to be first and foremost here in Canada, then vote to re-elect Stephen Harper as our Prime Minister. He is Christian. And, he wants to protect us.
If you didn't read the LwL entry regarding him, then please click on this link entitled, Vote For... http://www.lifewithlynnie.com/2015/10/vote-for.html.
Hopefully, you read that LwL entry, about Stephen Harper being a Christian who has been doing his best for Canada... for persecuted Christians outside Canada and... for us.
Please know, I will pray for you. May God bless you...

Justin Trudeau! & Truth...
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I will once again be discussing about voting.
A friend on Facebook (FB) posted this YouTube video that I am sharing with you. It's entitled, The Last Crusade - Islam or Christianity: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLlJL748FTs&feature=youtu.be
In the past, most people wouldn't have even thought about Christianity, being diminished... in any way. But, it is happening. Now.
It was shocking to me when a real-life friend of mine, who is also on FB, posted a link to a site asking that people speak up, speak out, share the link, and sign the petition. What was the petition about?
It was about how Justin Trudeau will not allow any Christian person to become a member of the Liberal Party of Canada.
Here is a link to the site for you to read, pass on to others, and sign. It's entitled, Demand Justin Repeal This Policy Of Exclusion, Intolerance & Discrimination: http://www.justinrepealintolerance.ca/.
I pray that you will read it, understand it, agree with it, share it and sign it.
Here on LwL, I feel the need to speak truth.
Not hatefully. But rather, speak truth... in love.
My concern is about Islam. And, how Justin Trudeau seems to support Islam, rather than be protecting others, who are not Muslim.
Here is a link to an article by cbc.ca entitled, Justin Trudeau: Tories threaten liberty by fostering prejudice against Muslims: http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/justin-trudeau-tories-threaten-liberty-by-fostering-prejudice-against-muslims-1.2988155.
I must say that I will never vote for Justin Trudeau.
Nor, will I ever vote for anyone who agrees with him. Or, for anyone who supports him.
Or, for anyone who supports sin.
Sin?
Muslims are killing people in various countries around the world. This... is sin.
Just as we read in Exodus 20:13, "Thou shalt not kill."
Yet, this is what Muslims are doing. In many places around the world.
Just like they did recently in Pakistan.
Just like they did, on Wednesday, March 18th. In Tunisia.
Here is a link by The New York Times entitled, Tunisia Gunmen Target Tourism, killing 19 at an Art Museum: http://www.nytimes.com/2015/03/19/world/africa/gunmen-attack-tunis-bardo-national-museum.html?_r=0.
Just as you may have read in that article, two (2) of the possible four or five (4 or 5) gunmen, were killed. Along with 17 tourists, who were exiting buses after arriving in Tunis on cruise ships.
Plus, 20 or more other tourists were injured.
Sigh...
Listen to me, please. A few weeks ago, I almost booked a Mediterranean cruise. Tunis was one port of call, for the cruise.
God placed it on my heart to not book it. So, I didn't.
If I had, I may have been someone either killed or injured.
Thank You, Lord! Thank You, for protecting me.
But, will Justin Trudeau protect me? NO.
Will he protect anyone else... from those who are Islamic, who may come forward even here in Canada, to hurt and/or kill people? NO.
He would rather claim that Islam is peaceful.
Islam, is NOT peaceful, to everyone. Peace seems to only be towards fellow Muslims who live the same Islamic way they do. Even some Muslims are killed; usually, those who are a different type of Islam.
Many people do not want to believe what I will say, but in my opinion, it IS the truth.
Those who are considered terrorists, seem to be regularly called fanatics, extremists, radicals and/or are known to be part of ISIS, ISIL and/or other terrorist groups. I do not believe this to be the truth.
In my opinion, those who are members of terrorist groups are TRUE Muslims.
Muslims who were taught through the Qur'an and other Islamic holy books, etc. about the truth of Islam. And, what is expected of them.
Yet, Justin Trudeau doesn't believe this.
Please know Justin Trudeau, that I will pray for you. And, pray that God will reveal His truth to you.
May God bless you.
Until next time...

Vote For...
Today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be discussing an issue that rarely comes up. Elections, here in Canada.
On this coming Monday, October 19th, it is Election Day.
Many people don't want to discuss who they want to vote for. I'm different.
Why?
Well, if you know me personally, you're aware that I won't vote for someone who isn't honouring God.
Even though some people claim they are Christian, I've actually got responses from a couple of people in the past, who I decided I would never vote for. You see, they were in favour of sin.
To me, abortions, same sex marriage and other issues of sin, are absolutely against God. After all, God's Word, the Bible tells us this.
The only person I believe can be trusted to stand up and do whatever he can for God, is Stephen Harper.
As you're aware, Stephen Harper is currently our Canadian Prime Minister. To me, he's been a very good Prime Minister.
Not just because he's done well keeping Canada on a positive note. But, also for many other reasons.
A very important thing Stephen Harper has done, was something that I only recently heard about.
Before I tell you what he did, I need to tell you what I did.
In the past, I e-mailed Stephen Harper's office. Not once. Many, many, many times.
Knowing that Stephen Harper is Christian, I approached him regarding different issues.
However, one issue I e-mailed him about, was very important. At least, it was to me.
I asked Stephen Harper to please help protect/rescue women and children over in the Middle East.
Why did I do this? Because I knew there were many women and children being used, abused and even sold into sexual slavery by Muslims who killed off family members, like spouses, and/or kidnapped them.
The only women and children this seemed to be happening to, were non-Muslims. Infidels, as Muslims call them. With many being Christian.
To be honest, I never heard what Stephen Harper had our Canadian Government do, to help protect and/or rescue those who were being treated badly by Muslims. At least, not until about a couple of weeks ago.
The link I received from my friends, was a link by visiontv.ca entitled, The New Holocaust: A ZNews Special. Here's the link for you to watch it: http://www.visiontv.ca/videos/the-new-holocaust-a-znews-special/.
Most people would think that that video might be only about Christians being slaughtered by Muslims. Well, hopefully you watched that entire video.
If you did, you'll know that the main topic is in regards to women and children being rescued from Muslims who had kidnapped many to be sold into sex slavery.
Please, if you haven't watched that entire video, do so, now.
The video shows a Christian man, who was originally Muslim, but converted to Christianity, who works with a Canadian missions group. He and the Missions group reps approach Muslims.
They either buy women and children, or trade items the Muslims want, so that they can rescue the women and children.
For this, I was thankful to see.
However, further on in the last third of the video, a notice is posted. It tells us that Stephen Harper was in that area, and gave the group $$ to help them rescue those women and children.
Knowing that Stephen Harper did this, on behalf of our Canadian government, truly touched my heart. And, made me realize that he was doing whatever he could, to do God's work, here on earth.
For this, I am truly grateful! To Stephen Harper, and of course... to God! Thank You, Lord!
At first, I wondered why the media had never told us this, when this first occurred. Then, I realized that if they had, it may have opened up troubles with Muslims here in Canada.
In any case, I'm grateful God revealed what Stephen Harper has done. For, I know he is doing whatever he can to protect us Canadians, also.
Of course, some people haven't been happy with him, recently.
Windsorstar.com posted an article entitled, PMO's Syrian refugee audit looked at religion, whether some groups benefitted. Click on this link to read it: http://www.windsorstar.com/life/syrian+refugee+audit+about+more+than+security/11425261/story.html?hootPostID=d9229d67c82872f4feee30b29f09fbac.
For some reason, some people have been unhappy that the people who claim to be refugees, will NOT be accepted if they just walked into our country and claimed to be refugees.
They seemed to be upset that our government is going to check out their situations, and only allow those who they confirm are truly refugees.
To me, this is absolutely wonderful.
In fact, it is an answer to prayer. Prayer that I prayed.
After all, look what has happened over in Europe.
Many who claimed to be refugees, have not been happy about having somewhere else to go and live. In fact, many seem to be happy, healthy, male people with electronic equipment and other items that true refugees probably would not have. Plus, many have been attacking people in various countries, because things are not transpiring the way they want things to be done.
Are they truly refugees? Do we want them here?
Probably not. They are probably ISIS members. Since they are definitely Muslims.
It made me wonder why Christians from the Middle East, and mainly Syria, haven't been taken as refugees. It seems that Islam wants to speed up taking over countries in the world.
In any case, we Canadians are not in a position to be sorting out those problems elsewhere in the world.
But, we are truly blessed having a leader of our country, who places God first. And, wants to protect us Canadians as best he can, from being hurt in any way, from false people claiming to need refugee status, who are intending to attack Canada, from within.
Being Christian, Stephen Harper knows that we are all subject to higher powers.
Like we read, in Romans 13:1, "Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God."
Yes, every soul needs to be subject to higher powers. For, there is no power but of God: the powers that are ordained of God.
Honouring God, and protecting we Canadians is truly difficult work, in this world. After all, society seems to be less wanting to do what God would have us do.
But, Stephen Harper wants to.
So, I will vote for the Conservative party candidate in my area. This way, Stephen Harper, the Conservative party leader, can be re-elected as our Canadian Prime Minister.
Hopefully, you will, too.
If you do, I will pray God will bless you.
Until next time...

Happy Thanksgiving!
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL),
I wish you
Happy Thanksgiving!
At least... to all my fellow Canadian friends and family.
Plus those in other countries who celebrate
Thanksgiving the same day!
Thinking about
Thanksgiving
and being
thankful,
brought
to mind...
Ephesians 5:20,
"Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;"
No matter what
circumstances in
life we have
to deal with,
He is always
there!
He never
leaves us,
nor forsakes
us.
He's with
us always,
even 'til
the end
of the
age.
For this,
I will
always
be
grateful.
Thank
You,
Lord!
Enjoy your special day, giving thanks to our Lord!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Until next time...

Living...
Today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) I'll be letting you know what I'll be doing.
You are probably aware that being our Lord's Day, I'll be going to worship with my church family. For this, is normally what I do on SONday!
Worshipping God is so very important. At least, it is for me. And, for you... if you belong to Him.
There is a hymn that reflects the way I've been living. Living without my husband, Gordon who died six (6) years ago, this weekend.
It's a hymn by Thomas O. Chisholm and Carl Howard Lowden that's entitled, Living for Jesus. Here is a link for you to listen and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12Tww_FPthc. The lyrics for this version, are below.
Living for Jesus
Living for Jesus a life that is true
Striving to please Him in all that I do
Yielding allegiance glad hearted and free
This is the pathway of blessing for me.
Living for Jesus who died in my place
Bearing on Calvary my sin and disgrace
Such love constrains me to answer His call
Follow His leading and give Him my all.
Living for Jesus through earth's little while
My dearest treasure the light of His smile
Seeking the lost ones He died to redeem
Bringing the weary to find rest in Him.
I must admit, that even as these lyrics say, He is my dearest treasure.
Thinking about my dearest treasure, made me think of Matthew 6:21, "For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."
My treasure is truly with Jesus. In all that I do.
So, I know my heart is with Him, also.
He helps me through each and every day of my life.
For this, I will always be grateful. Thank You, Lord!
