Preserved!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be asking you to pray.  Please, pray for all who are being persecuted for their faith.

You are probably aware that some Christians are being imprisoned by Muslims... simply because they are Christian.

Like Pastor Saeed Abedini, who is still imprisoned by Muslims.  And, Pastor Yat Michael and Pastor Peter Yen who were South Sudanese church leaders.

A few weeks ago, I read an online article by The Voice of the Martyrs entitled, Persecution Blog:  Sudan:  Pastors' Release Still in Progresshttp://www.persecutionblog.com/2015/08/pastors-release-still-in-progress.html.

I hope you read the article.  If you did, you'll know that both of those South Sudanese church leaders were released from prison.

For this I praise God!

In August, I received an e-mail from the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ).  Here is what it said:

Lynn,

Two Christian Pastors have just been banned from leaving Sudan.

Their lives are again in great danger.

Pastors Michael and Peter were recently released from a possible death sentence, but they are not truly free.

Sudan's National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS) - the same radical Islamists that charged these two innocent pastors with false "crimes" for their faith carrying the death penalty - placed a travel ban on the pastors.

They can't return home. They can't reach safety. They and their families are at risk.

We're mobilizing our international offices and preparing critical legal letters to Sudan. It must allow these two South Sudanese pastors to leave Sudan and travel to safety.

We are taking swift action, but Pastors Michael and Peter need to hear from you again. Your voice led to their release, but they will not be truly free until they are safely out of Sudan. Be heard again.

Even though Pastors Michael and Peter were released from prison, they have not been allowed to go home.

To me, this is almost as bad as them be imprisoned.

After all, they cannot move forward with their lives.  And, there is no guarantee that they will be kept safe, unless it is God's will for this to happen.

As you probably are aware, God has a plan for all our lives.  And, He alone, is the only person who knows what His plan is, and what it includes.

Even so, God has told us that He shall protect us.

Just as we read, in Psalm 121:7, "The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul."

Yes, our Lord shall preserve us from all evil.  And, He shall preserve our souls.

For this, I praise Him!

After all, even though we go through horrible ordeals in our lives, He preserves us.  Even if we face some evilness in our lives, we are preserved from all evil.

And, He has preserved our souls.

Is your soul preserved?  Are you saved?

If you haven't yet accepted Jesus Christ as your Saviour, I suggest you read God's Word, the Bible.  Read the New Testament portion, first.

Hopefully, you will realize that each and every person on the face of the earth, needs to gain salvation.  And, how they will obtain it.

It's simple.

Trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ... and you will be saved!

Even though Pastor Saeed Abedini, Pastor Michael and Pastor Peter are saved, they each need prayer.

Please pray for them, and for every brother and sister in the Lord, who are suffering persecution.

Thank you.  May God bless you.

Until next time...
