No Greater!

On Life with Lynnie (LwL) the day before yesterday, I mentioned how my granddaughter, A is now coming with me to worship, on Sundays.

This makes me happy.  But I am happy about something else.

I am able to spend some time with A.  Time I never had alone with her, in the past.

Yes, it's while I drive her from home to church, and back again.  But, we enjoy time together.

We play games like... I Spy With My Little Eye.  And, enjoy this fun time!

However, we also do other things.

We talk.  We laugh.  And, we sing and/or quote Bible verses, together!

Believe me when I say this truly makes me happy!  :)

The joy that fills my heart, is HUGE.

In fact, it is so large that it sometimes makes me want to cry and not just laugh.  Crying, seems to be something I do, not just when I'm sad, but more so... when I'm happy.

Thinking about this, made me think of 3 John 1:4, "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth."

Yes, having our children walk in truth, is the greatest joy that can be.

Okay.  I know.  A, is not my child.

In a way, she is.  She is my grandchild.  So, she is my child, in a sense.

In any case, I'm looking forward to her becoming saved.  Saved by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

When that happens, I'll be more joyful than I have ever been in the past!

Of course, I'll be happy that she will then have everlasting life, and never be separated from God.

However, I also believe that when she becomes saved, she will walk in truth.  God's truth!
