Please... Don't!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I've let readers know in the past, that September 30th is a memorable day for me.

It is, once again.  In fact, at 3:45 p.m., it becomes the 35th anniversary of the day I was driving a school bus, and was hit by a tractor-trailer driver.

Am I alone in things like this happening?  Absolutely, not.

Here is a link to a posting with a video made by a Facebook (FB) friend, created by Godfruits.com entitled, This Man Wants You To Meet His Daughter, When You See Why Your Heart Will Sinkhttp://www.godfruits.com/6631/this-man-wants-you-to-meet-his-daughter-when-you-see-why-your-heart-will-sink.php?ref=8.

If you watched that video, you'll know that the father was upset over his daughter being physically disabled, by a drunk driver.  And, so he should be.

However, I hope that he will forgive that drunk driver, as God would have him do.

Just as he said in the video, the drunk driver received a 10 year sentence.  However, his daughter who was victimized, received a life sentence.

As for me, and my situation, I was not as severely injured as that father's daughter was in the video.  But, I have still suffered in many ways, over the past 35 years.  And, will probably for the rest of my life, unless God gives me some sort of miracle.

In any case, I pray that you will never drink and drive.  Please... don't!

When I write the next book I intend to write, I will explain why.

As I said earlier, I hope that the injured daughter's father will forgive.  For by doing so, he will receive peace from God.

Much like we read, in Colossians 3:15, "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful."

Yes, when the peace of God rules in our hearts, we will also be thankful.

Possibly not thankful for whatever caused the injury.  But, I believe all will be thankful that God provided.

While I'm not happy about being struck by that truck driver, and am not really happy about how my life has since changed, I am truly thankful that God provided for me... and for others, including my daughter, P.

Just as I wrote about in the book I authored, Love Never Fails You...  God truly blessed what happened in that collision.

Don't believe me?

Please, click upon the Amazon.com link above, or below.  There you'll be able to find, Love Never Fails You... as it's available on Amazon.

The thankfulness I have, is truly a blessing from God.

For this, I will always look to Him, for everything in my life!

Hopefully, you will, also.

Just As...

Did you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday?

Hopefully, so.  For if you did, you'll know that I had been asked to sing during a worship service, with a different church family than where I normally, do.

You may wonder how the missions group knew I enjoy singing.  Well, it's because I had been heard singing a few years back by a sister in the Lord, D who worships with another different church family.

After getting together again a while ago, she let me know she enjoyed my singing.  Just so you know, I prefer singing a capella (without music).

In fact, D asked me to sing at a meeting she was in charge of arranging, with the women with whom she worships.

It was on Tuesday, September 15th, when I sang for her church's women's group.  Here's a link, for you to check it out, in case you'd like to go worship, there with them:  http://www.lynnieministries.blogspot.ca/2015/09/tuesday-september-15-2015.html.

Riverside Baptist Church, is a sister church to where I worship, at Walkerville Evangelical Baptist Church.  In fact, in the past, I've worshipped there, several times.

But, this was a blessing to me, being asked to sing for the women's meeting.  Thank you, Lord!  And, thank you, D!

Just so you know, my friend D works for another church group.  It was D, who told Grant D. Fairley that I would probably agree to worship and sing, where he needed someone to help.

For this, I am truly thankful to God, as I've said before.  Not just for singing.  But, also for doing it to honour and glorify our Lord.

Much like we read, in Colossians 3:17, "And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him."

Yes, I'll always be thankful.

No, I'm not perfect.  But, I love our Lord.  And, am so thankful to God!

You see, it's been a while since I have been asked to do anything like this.  Especially, since I've had so many repeated surgeries over the last three+ years!

But, I love to work for Him.  And, honour and glorify Him!

Later on Sunday afternoon, I dropped by to see a Christian sister in the Lord, who had asked me to drop by her home.  This is someone I only met a few months ago.

Until our conversation when we got together, she didn't know I sang.  She recognized the church group, where I had sung, but had no idea I would even do what I did.

She asked me to sing for her.  I did.

Then, she asked if I would sing at her church, if they requested me to do so.  I let her know I would.

So this fairly new friend let me know that she would let her church's office know that I would be willing to do this.  And, she's hoping they will ask me to sing.

I know that if God wills it, it will be done.

So, I'll trust Him.  Just as I've always done.

Nothing!

If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday, you'll know that I mentioned I was going to worship.  But, I didn't say I would worship with my church family, like I normally do.

I didn't say this?  No.  Because, I didn't go worship with my church family.

Instead, I went to where another church group worships.

Why did I go there?  Because I had been asked if I would go there.

I was asked to sing.  So, I did.

First Baptist Church is where I worshipped!  And, sang.

Hopefully, you clicked on the link, to see where it is located.  Especially, if you live in Windsor.

If you're interested, feel free to go worship there!

I must admit, I have felt badly for this church family.  You see, they no longer have a pastor.

If you know someone who would be willing to pastor them, please contact them.  The info on how/where to contact them, is on the link I placed, above.

You may be wondering how these brothers and sisters in the Lord can have a worship service, if there is no pastor.

Well, a local missions group has been participating in honouring God, by providing for this church family.

A member of the missions group ask me to go sing there.

They also provided someone to play the piano, for music.  D, was very talented.  It was lovely listening to her play the music.

Plus, they provided a man to preach/teach God's Word.

While I do not have a link for the missions group, I do have a link for some of the work this man does, here in Windsor, plus Toronto and London, Ontario.  Here is the link for you to check it out: http://www.strategic-seminars.com/.

Yes, Grant D. Fairley does seminars, as part of his work.

However, I must say that even though Grant D. Fairley does seminars, I am absolutely thankful that I heard him preach!

The message he gave was a blessing.  Not just to me, but also to others.

I praise God that the Word of God dwells in him!

Thinking of this, reminded me of Colossians 3:16, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."

Yes, the word of Christ needs to dwell in us, richly... in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs... plus, singing with grace in our hearts to the Lord.

Just as was my intention, when I sang during this worship service.

I must admit, it truly was a blessing to hear Grant D. Fairley, yesterday.  I'm thankful!

Not just because he gave a wonderful sermon.  But, also because I met him.

You see, my deceased husband Gordon, had worshipped with Grant at the same church, when they were growing up.

So, I knew that in Grant's heart, he loves our Lord.

For this, I am truly thankful!

My friend, do you love our Lord?

Hopefully, so.  For if you do, you have gained salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

And, nothing... NOTHING, could ever be better than that!

I Know...

Once again, I'm letting you know here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) that I am going to worship, today.

Of course, I worship in spirit and in truth.  And, through music.

The music I am sharing with you today, is by Daniel W. Whittle and James McGranahan.  It's entitled, I Know Whom I Have Believed.  Here is the link for you to listen to it and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bRV3J4n8cc.  The lyrics are below.

I Know Whom I Have Believed

I know not why God's wondrous grace
To me He hath made known,
Nor why, unworthy, Christ in love
Redeemed me for His own.

But I know Whom I have believed
And am persuaded that He is able
To keep that which I've committed
Unto Him against that day.

I know not how this saving faith
To me He did impart,
Nor how believing in His Word
Wrought peace within my heart.

But I know Whom I have believed
And am persuaded that He is able
To keep that which I've committed
Unto Him against that day.

I know not how the Spirit moves,
Convincing men of sin,
Revealing Jesus through the Word,
Creating faith in Him.

But I know Whom I have believed
And am persuaded that He is able
To keep that which I've committed
Unto Him against that day.

I know not when my Lord may come,
At night or noonday fair,
Nor if I walk the vale with Him,
Or meet Him in the air.

But I know Whom I have believed
And am persuaded that He is able
To keep that which I've committed
Unto Him against that day.

Just as you probably noticed at the end of the music video, a Bible verse was quoted.

It was 2 Timothy 1:12, "For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day."

Yes, we suffer things.  Even so, I am not ashamed... for I know Whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day.

How wonderful it is, that we can understand what to expect in our lives.

At least, if you are like me... one of God's children.  For He keeps that which I've committed unto Him.  Always.

My question to you is... are you God's child?

Yes, we are all part of God's creation.  But, this doesn't mean that we are all God's children.

In order to be one of God's children, you need to be trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

By doing so, you become one of God's children.  And, gain salvation.

This is so... very... important.

After all, if you do not gain salvation, then you will suffer in Hell, separated from God, for eternity... with no chance of escape, when you life here on earth ends.

But, if you gain salvation, you will spend eternity in Heaven, with God!

My friend, trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, now.

Don't wait.  Tomorrow... may be too late.

Proven Truth!

Once in a while, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I let you know I have received e-mail from someone.  That's what I'll be discussing, today!

T. John Franklin who is the pastor of Church of Salvation, Healing and Deliverance, here in Ontario, Canada, and his wife B, have been friends of mine, for quite a while, now.  Here is a link for his ministry site:  www.cos-had.org.

Pastor John sent me an e-mail.  Here is what was sent as links:

WND.com posted an article entitled, ISIS Smuggler: 'We will use refugee crisis to infiltrate West'.  Click on this link, to read it:  http://www.wnd.com/2015/09/isis-smuggler-we-will-use-refugee-crisis-to-infiltrate-west/

If you read this article, you'll know that Muslims need to emigrate to fulfill what they are taught in Islam.

So, like I've said in the past, Muslims are generally immigrating, not to have a better life.  They are coming to countries like Canada, where I live, in order to change life here, and be blessed by Allah.

Frontpagemag.com posted an article entitled, The Hijrah into Europe.  To read it, click on this link:  http://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/260019/hijrah-europe-robert-spencer.

As it says, "Refugees colonize a continent."  Just as they are doing in Europe, and elsewhere.

It also says, "Hijrah, or jihad by emigration, is, according to Islamic tradition, the migration or journey of Muhammad and his followers..."

So, unlike my grandparents who immigrated to Canada from Europe and wanted to change and improve their lives becoming more like Canadians, Muslims are immigrating here, and elsewhere... to change our countries.

As I've said in the past, Islam is doing whatever it can do, to take over the world.

Don't believe me?

Well, I think you must read an editorial sent to me by Pastor John.  It's entitled, Will The Real Wolf Please Stand Up.  Click here, to read it:  http://grid.evertek.ca/coshad/access/accesser.php?fileName=63_Will_The_Real_Wolf_Please_Stand_Up.pdf&navbar_1=Editorials&navbar_2=2015&navbar_3=.

In the e-mail, Pastor John let me know, he... "Heard that USA brings in 7 of every 10 migrants from the middle east."

Although I do not know for sure it is much the same here in Canada, I believe it is.  After all, most of our immigrants seem to be Muslim, these days.

No matter the case, the point is that the majority of immigrants seem to be Islamic.  At least, where I live.

Even so, I know I must not become overwhelmed by what has been happening.  I need to focus on God.  And, trust Him.

Thinking of this, brought to mind1 Peter 5:8, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:"

Yes, we need to be sober, and vigilant, because our adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about seeking whom he may devour.

We need to do this, so that we can know and understand the truth of what God has let us know.  And, understand that we Christians may be attacked.

Just as we are now.

Don't believe me?

Remind yourself about how Christians are being persecuted.

Not just here in North America.  But, all over the world.

Especially, in countries where Muslims are persecuting Christians.

Please, pray for our brothers and sisters in the Lord, who are being persecuted.  Thank you.  May God bless you.

Reward!

From time to time, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I discuss issues that are important.  At least, to me.

Most people on Facebook (FB) have been supportive of me, when I've posted information about Islam.  And, a few friends have even shared with me, some information that I've shared, too.

But, someone I know has put me down for speaking up/out about Islam.

This person believes that none of us should do this.  And, has put me down, for doing what I have done.

While this was upsetting to me, I forgave this person.

After all, not everyone believes that we must speak truth.  Truth, not just about God, but about everything in our lives.

However, after praying about this issue, I began seeing articles posted, that showed that it was truly a good thing that other people, like myself, have spoken up about Islam.

Here they are:

*  Jewsnews.co.il posted on the internet, an article entitled, Austria Makes New Law:  Muslims Can No Longer Speak Arabic, All Muslims Must Now Speak German.  Here is the link for you to read it:  http://www.jewsnews.co.il/2015/08/28/austria-makes-new-law-muslims-can-no-longer-speak-arabic-all-muslims-must-now-speak-german-2/.

*  Pamelageller.com posted an article entitled, Egyptian Government Closes 27,000 Mosques in Move to Fight Islamic Terrorism.  To read it, click on this link:  http://pamelageller.com/2015/03/egyptian-government-closes-27000-mosques-in-move-to-fight-islamic-terrorism.html/.

*  Barenakedislam.com posted an article entitled, HONG KONG:  Pizza Hut, McDonalds, and KFC reject Islamic-approved 'halal' meat... MUSLIMS FURIOUS! Click here, to read it:  http://www.barenakedislam.com/2015/08/24/hong-kong-pizza-hut-mcdonalds-kfc-reject-islamic-approved-halal-meatmuslims-furious/.

*  Conservativepost.com posted an article entitled, China Just Banned All Muslim Call To Prayer, Obey or Go HOME.  Here is a link for you to read it:  http://conservativepost.com/china-just-banned-all-muslim-call-to-prayer-obey-or-go-home/.

When I read first read the articles, I was shocked.

Shocked that governments of other countries are accepting the truth about Islam.  About, how Muslims are fulfilling what they are taught in the Qur'an and other of their holy books.  About how they are trying to take over the world.

The person who seemed to hate me for not agreeing with them, told me that I was not abiding by God's Word.

Why?

The person sent me an MSG (Message Bible) version of Leviticus 19:34, "When a foreigner lives with you in your land, don’t take advantage of him. Treat the foreigner the same as a native. Love him like one of your own. Remember that you were once foreigners in Egypt. I am God, your God."

As you're aware, I usually quote the KJV, so here is Leviticus 19:34, "But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God."

As you can see if you read both verses, they are basically the same.

Yes, I agree.  We must treat immigrants like ourselves.  After all, our family members weren't always born here.

Much like my grandparents, who came to Canada from Europe.

When my grandparents came to Canada, they had given up their lifestyle over in Europe.  And, were willing to not only become Canadian, but were willing to live their lives, and raise their families, as like the rest of Canadians.

However, this has NOT been the case with Muslims.

A few weeks ago, I posted here on LwL a link that had an article and a video about how Muslims in USA, were not all happy living here.  On the video, many were interviewed and agreed that they preferred not just Sharia Law, but also life in the countries they came from.  And, they wanted to change life, in USA.

I believe they want to change our life, here in Canada.

Since when should immigrants want to do that?  Aren't they supposed to be wanting a new life?

Well, even though I can't seem to get that person who complained about me, to agree with me, I am grateful that over in other countries, governments are realizing that what I have been posting about, was truth.

And, now some governments are beginning to do what they can to prevent Islam from doing what I have said their intention is.  To, take over the world.

To me, this is a reward.  A reward, for speaking truth and having those governments realize they need to protect their people.

For this, I praise God!  And, will continue to pray that my fellow Christians, will pray for Muslims, and plant seeds for Christ, just as I do... so that they will become saved, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Not Alone!

Hopefully, you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) over the last couple of days.

If you did, you'll know that I discussed how Islam is trying to take over the world.  Doing so, to fulfill what Islam teaches.

I realize some people may think I'm wrong about this.  To those people, I must let them know that I will pray for them.

You see, there are many people in countries all over the world, who are realizing that what I've been saying about Islam, is true.

For this I praise God!  And, always will!  After all, this proves I am not alone in my thinking!

When I came across some articles proving this point, I was truly shocked.  And, very happy.  Thank You, Lord!

Here's something you need to read:  Conservativepost.com posted an article and a video that I believe everyone needs to see.  It's entitled, WATCH:  This is the first country to BAN Islam, Mosques demolished... check what happenedhttp://conservativepost.com/watch-this-is-the-first-country-to-ban-islam-mosques-demolishedcheck-what-happened/.

If you read that article and watched that video, you'll know that Angola, Africa... is the first and so far, only country that has refused Islam, totally.  Their politicians obviously recognize that Islam is not truly a religion... but rather, it is an Ideology.

Feel free to check out what Ideology is, by clicking on the link in yesterday's LwL entry.  However, if you check that out, you may also want to check out something else.  Political Ideology.

For those who do not understand what a Political Ideology is, Wikipedia posted information entitled, Political Ideologieshttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_political_ideologies.

If you read about Political Ideology, you'll know that any group that operates in this manner works in two (2) dimensions:

1)  Goals

2)  Methods.

Yes, I copied the 2 dimensions discussed on that link.

Islam has done exactly what Political Ideology claims will happen.

Goals are set.  Set, by having Muslims take over the world, to fulfill the teaching of Islam.

Methods are set.  Set, by having Muslims immigrate to countries that are currently not Islamic.  This way, they can expand their numbers and eventually take over.

This definitely describes how Islam works.

As their numbers increase, they will push our governments to support Islam, more and more.  And, more.  Until they take over.

After all, their god is not our God.  So, their father, is not ours.

Just as we read, in John 8:44-45, "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not."

Yes, Muslims god is of the devil.  Why do I say this?

Because, today's Bible verses explain that those who do not believe what our God tells us in truth, have a god... the devil.

My friend, if you have not yet gained salvation by trusting in our Lord, Jesus Christ, then please do so, as soon as possible.  For when you do this, you will gain everlasting life.

If you do not ever do this, you will never spend eternity with God.

Please know that I pray for you.  Blessings...

S, K & D...

If you read yesterday's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, you'll know that I discussed issues that appeared to be different between a Christian and a Muslim.

Today, I'll be discussing something different, but in some ways, applicable in nature.

Some people think that Muslims that immigrate into various countries, are doing so to improve their lives.  I don't believe this is true.

Here in Canada as well as in USA, it seems that Muslims are not happy.  And, they do whatever they can to have our government support them.

Don't believe me?  Well, you should check things out on the internet.  Watch the news.  And, of course read/watch postings/videos that tell the truth.

Like this article by Constitution.com/rickwells.us entitled, Gang Of Six Aggressive Arab Passengers Force Flight To Be Locked Down, Diverted,  Perpetrators Arrested, Chargedhttp://rickwells.us/gang-of-bsix-aggressive-arab-passengers-force-flight-to-be-locked-down-diverted-perpetrators-arrested-charged/.

If you read this article, you'll know that Muslims caused trouble on a flight in USA.  Why?  Only God knows.

Watch this YouTube video entitled, Muslims win prayer case against Webber Academyhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XELWyJeKSV0&feature=share.

If you watched and/or listened to that video, you'll know that what I claim to be the truth, truly is.  Meaning, Muslims are trying to take control of the way we live.  Even here in Canada.

Here is a link to an article posted by conservativetribune.com entitled, Muslim Flight Attendant Refuses to Serve Infidel...But What Happens Next Is Even Worsehttp://conservativetribune.com/muslim-attendant-refuses/?utm_source=Facebook&utm_medium=ConservativeTribune&utm_content=2015-09-03.

Hopefully, you read about this issue, on yesterday's LwL entry.  However, I must ask you something.

Why it is, that some people don't believe that Islam teaches Muslims that they need to take over the world?  Having a uncaring mindset is beyond me.

After all, if you read that article about the Flight Attendant, you'll know that she is trying to change the way life exists in USA.

As I've said in the past, I don't believe Islam is really a religion.  It is an ideology, that intends to change the way people live in the world.  Changing things into the rules of Islam.

What is an ideology?  Here's a link on Wikipedia, for you to read about it:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ideology.

If you read the article about ideology, you'll understand that it mentioned this:  "It can be described as a set of conscious and unconscious ideas which make up one's goals, expectations, and motivations."

Ideas?  Goals?  Expectations and motivations?

Those are just what Islam is teaching their Muslims to do.  Work towards changing life, in non-Muslim countries.  Like USA, Canada, UK, Australia, and other countries all over the world.

Thinking about this, made me think about how Islam is trying to steal, kill and destroy the lifestyles of those who live in countries who are not Islamic.

Just as we read, in John 10:10, "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."

After all, their god is not our God.

Their god is basically the thief, who wants Muslims to take over the world.  Peaceably, if possible.  And, if not peaceably, then they can cut off our heads.  Meaning the heads of all infidels.  Unbelievers of Islam.

Our God, is who gives us life.  More abundantly... by providing us with eternal life, through gaining salvation, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

For this, I praise God.  And, always will.

Persecuted and Hated...

On Life with Lynnie (LwL) today, I'll be discussing something.  The issue is very important.  At least, to me.

It's regarding Kim Davis.  And, what happened to her, in USA.

You're probably aware, that she was arrested September 3rd, 2015 in Ashland, Kentucky, USA for refusing to issue a marriage license to a gay couple.  Read about it on this link by nytimes.com for the article published entitled, Clerk in Kentucky Chooses Jail Over Deal on Same-sex Marriagehttp://www.nytimes.com/2015/09/04/us/kim-davis-same-sex-marriage.html?_r=0.

Here is a link so you can read more about the situation:  http://time.com/4024556/kareem-abdul-jabbar-kim-davis/.  If you read this, you'll know that Kareem Abdul-Jabbar said, just as the link is entitled by time.com, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar:  Kim Davis Is Not a Patriot.

It amazes me that Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, would make a comment like that, no matter whether or not he is Muslim.

Why do I think this?

Well, you may/may not have heard about something that is similar, but different.  It's something on an article regarding a Muslim flight attendant.  The September 3rd, 2015 article here, is by cbsnews.com, and is entitled, Muslim flight attendant accuses ExpressJet Airlines of suspending her for not serving alcoholhttp://www.cbsnews.com/news/muslim-flight-attendant-expressjet-airlines-alcohol/.

Please, read this link by bizpacreview.com entitled, Muslim flight attendant sues after she's suspended for refusing to serve alcoholhttp://www.cbsnews.com/news/muslim-flight-attendant-expressjet-airlines-alcohol/.

Knowing these two (2) issues regarding these two (2) women are not the same, doesn't mean there isn't similarities.  At least, not to me.

The Christian woman refused to do part of her job, even though her employer had recently had things change at work, legally.

The Muslim woman refused to do part of her job, even though her employer follows the guidelines that are by law.

Did the same thing happen to each of these women?

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Muslim woman was only removed temporarily from her job.  And, was NOT arrested for doing what she did, even though it was not legal for her to have done what she did.

The Christian woman WAS arrested, for not doing what was legally expected of her.

Sigh...  Be still my heart.

If you cannot see from this, that Christians are being treat badly in USA, there's something wrong with your thinking.

After all, since the Muslim woman broke the law, why wasn't she arrested?

It seems that many governments do not want to go after Muslims.  Yet they will do so, to Christians.

Was it shocking to me about what happened to Kim Davis, with her being arrested?  No.

God warned us in His Word, the Bible, that His children will be persecuted for their faith.  Just as Kim Davis has been.

All who are persecuted will be hated by people.

Just as we read, in Matthew 10:22, "And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved."

While I have not been arrested, I know that I have been hated by some people, for supporting God.  But, like we read in today's Bible verse, those who endureth to the end, shall be saved.

For this, I praise God!  Hallelujah!

On September 8th, 2015, cbc.ca posted an article online entitled, Kentucky county clerk Kim Davis released from Jail.  Here's a link for you to check it out:  http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/kentucky-county-clerk-kim-davis-released-from-jail-1.3219459.

While I am happy that Kim Davis was released from jail after spending five (5) nights in jail, she will still face judgement in the court room, at some point in the future.

My friend, if you are truly God's child, please pray for Kim Davis.

Thank you.  May God bless you.

Is Thankful...

As I mentioned here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) in July, I had a song on my mind.  Here is a link for you to check it out:  http://www.lifewithlynnie.com/2015/07/wowee.html.

If you clicked on the link, or if you recalled the song, you'll know it was called... Come Monday.

Just like normal, it resonated within me, not just when I awoke that day.  It has been with me so very much, ever since.

Especially, on Monday, July 20th!

On that day, I thought I would stay with my friend C, at her cottage.  But, after having a few text messages, and realizing that I had things to do at home, I changed my mind.

After saying 'bye for now' to C, I began to make my way towards home.  Just as you read about it, last Friday.

Did I head home, directly?  Yes.  And, no.

On my way home, I had to stop in Milton, Ontario.  This is where my friends H & N, live.

They expected me to stop by, because I needed to drop something off to them.  And, they seemed as happy to see me, as I did to see them!

After visiting, I headed home.

Unfortunately, it was late in the evening, instead of earlier, when I left.  So, on my way home, I pulled off Hwy. #401, onto an ONroute rest stop, while driving west, towards home.

It was here, where I set the alarm on my cell phone.  And, slept for a while.

By having God place it on my heart to do this, He gave me a time of rest.

Thinking of how He provided for me, made me think of Psalm 27:14, "Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord."

Yes, I did trust and wait on the Lord.  And, accepted what He placed on my heart and mind.

By doing what He encouraged me to do, He gave me strength.  Enough strength to finish driving home.

For this, I will always be grateful!  Grateful that He helped me, and provided for me.

Thank You, Lord!

Mine...

Once again, I'll be letting you know, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), that I'll be going to spend time with my church family.

Worship is so very important.  Not just to me, but also to everyone.

Of course, I enjoy honouring God, through music.

Some music that has been good for me, is by Chris Tomlin and is entitled, My Deliverer.  Here is a link, so you can listen to and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OC5eh-9LyI.  The lyrics are below.

My Deliverer

I will wait for You to move
For Your mighty hand to save
When the trouble waters rise
You are my hiding place
You are my hiding place

You walls are salvation
Your gates are praise

You walls are salvation
Your gates are praise

My Deliverer
My Deliverer
My Deliverer
Is the Lord

Who is like You mighty God
Who can take me from Your hand
As I walk with You in freedom
You're the Rock on which I stand
You're the Rock on which I stand

You walls are salvation
Your gates are praise

You walls are salvation
Your gates are praise

My Deliverer
My Deliverer
My Deliverer
Is the Lord

My Deliverer
My Deliverer
My Deliverer
Is the Lord

My Deliverer
My Deliverer
My Deliverer
Is the Lord

Just as the lyrics for this music tell us, He is our Hiding Place.  And, our Lord, is our Deliverer.

Much like we read, in Psalm 18:2, "The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower."

For this, I am truly thankful.  After all, my Lord, is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer.  He's my strength, my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, plus my high tower.

In Him, I will always trust.  And, be thankful!

Mom and J. W.

Before I begin today's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, there's something I'd like to tell you.

I want to say that if my mom was still alive, today would be her birthday.  I truly miss my mom, and wish I could sing Happy Birthday to her.

Thinking about how my mom loved watching movies, I thought I would share some with you, that I recently watched.

And, thought I'd let you know that John Wayne is one actor my mom truly enjoyed watching.  So, I'm letting you know about all his movies, I watched, recently.

Here they are:

The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, starring James Stewart, Vera Miles, John Wayne and many more actors!   To check out this film, click here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Man_Who_Shot_Liberty_Valance.  As you probably realize, I enjoy westerns.  Like this one!

The Fighting Kentuckian, starring John Wayne, Oliver Hardy and more actors!  If you'd like to read about this movie, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fighting_Kentuckian.  This is said to be a comedy action film, but to me, it is truly a love story.

North to Alaska, starring John Wayne, Ernie Kovacs and other actors!  To check out this movie, click here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_to_Alaska.  This western film is also a comedy film.  Which I like!

Flame of Barbary Coast, starring John Wayne, William Frawley and more actors!  Want to check this movie out?  Click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flame_of_Barbary_Coast.  I enjoyed this western film!

Westward Ho, starring John Wayne, Sheila Bromley, Frank McGlynn Jr. and more actors!  Here's a link for you to read about it:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Westward_Ho_(1935_film).  Like most other western films, I enjoyed this one, even in its negativeness.

Like I've said in the past regarding other films I've seen, it seems that there are not many where sin isn't involved in the story.

Even so, there are sometimes situations concerning love.  And/or family.

Much like these films listed today.

Of course, no one knows for sure if John Wayne was Christian.

I must admit that I read online that he became Catholic just a short time before he died.  Whether or not this is true, I have no idea.

And, I do not know if John Wayne ever became a born-again Christian.  After all, God told us in His Word, that we all must be saved.

Whether or not this happened, is only known by God.

God, who loves His children.  Whether or not they are alive, or dead.

Much like we read, in Psalm 116:15, "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints."

Any one of God's children, is precious to Him... in the sight of the Lord, even in the death of His saints.  Just as we read in today's Bible verse.

Saints?

Some people think it has to be determined if people become saints, or not.

However, anyone who has read and studied God's Word, the Bible, understands that every single child of God, becomes a saint once they have gained salvation, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

For this, I am happy.  And, feel blessed!

After all, I am a child of God.

Are you?

If not, you won't receive everlasting life, to spend eternity in Heaven with God.  But, if you are a child of God, you have gained salvation.

And, I'll be able to see you some day.  In Heaven!

Steps...

If you read yesterday's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, you'll know that I finally made it to visit my friend C, in Roseneath, Ontario.  If you read that last LwL entry, you'll know I was ever so grateful to have finally made it, there!

As I said previously, I felt rather sad that my friend C, was still hurting.  Even now, she's having trouble walking, as I said, yesterday.

Even so, I was glad that she had invited me to visit with her!

C owns property on Rice Lake.  On the property, is seven (7) cottages.

C lives in one (1) cottage.  Her son lives in another.  And, her daughter uses another cottage, mainly on weekends.

The rest of the cottages are used either for storage, or for friends and/or other people to use for time they want to spend on a lake.  :)

I wish I had brought my camera with me.  But, I had forgotten to do that.

Yes, I took pics with my cell phone.  Just as I had with my friends I met with in Guelph.  However, I still haven't been able to upload them from my phone into my laptop.  :(

Even so, I must say that the view from C's cottage home, was absolutely beautiful!  Gorgeous not just during the day, but also for the sunset.  Ahhh... :)

We did all kinds of things, together.

We enjoyed meals at home and out at Swiss Chalet.  We used her internet.  We played Euchre. And, we watched movies and a lot of television (TV).

I must admit, we smiled... a lot!  And, laughter filled the house so very much!

When I thought it was time for me to head home, C asked me to stay longer.  So, I did.  But, not as long as what she thought I would.

I felt badly having to head home, but I knew that on the day I left her, I knew I had to do so.

Truthfully, I was thankful that God provided for me.  For, unlike when I headed up to C's home, the highway driving was much better!  Thank You, Lord!

Thinking of how He provided for me, brought to mind Proverbs 16:9, "A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps."

Yes, in my heart, mind and body, I believed it was time for me to head home.  And, our Lord directed my steps.  Just as He does for all who belong to Him.

Do you belong to Him?

Have you gained salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ?

Hopefully, so.

If not, you will suffer for all of eternity, being separated from God, and spending forever in Hell... with no chance of escape.

If you have become saved, you'll spend eternity in Heaven, with Him.  And, will always be thankful.

I know that if you're saved, I'll look forward to spending time with you, in Heaven!

Rejoice, Weep & Pray...

Hopefully, you read Life with Lynnie (LwL), yesterday.  If so, you'll know that I visited my brother, B.  And, I hope you prayed for B, who needs to receive a kidney, for he does not have any.

When I left Guelph, I made my way to Brampton.  This is where I had to drop off some info, to my friend, I.

Being mid July, she and her family were away at a cottage.  However, I was glad to be able to drop off the info to her home, instead of having to mail it!

Like normal whenever I am in Brampton, I drove by places I used to live.  Sigh...  Memories, are always recalled.

Then, I made my way south on Hwy. #410, down to Hwy. #401.

Heading east, wasn't fun.  Why?

Well, it took me about an hour or more, just to drive about a mile or so, between the cut-off for Hwy. #427 and the Eglinton Ave. exit, on Hwy. #401.  Sigh... :(  Sigh...

Then, later it took me about the same amount of time to drive between Ajax and Oshawa (about 10 km/6 miles).  Sigh...

After several hours of driving, I finally got to my friend C's cottage, in Roseneath, Ontario.

Upon arriving, I must admit... I was truly happy to be there!

It was wonderful to see, C!

It truly made me happy.  We hadn't seen each other in such a long time!

Thinking about being happy and rejoicing, made me think of Romans 12:15, "Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep."

Yes, I rejoiced along with my friend, C who was also happy to see me.

But, I must admit that I also weeped along with C.

Yes, my eyes were filled with tears seeing how she was having to still wear a boot, on her left leg and foot.  Especially, since she had not yet been healed, from the fall she had while she was in Portugal with her children, a couple of months earlier.

My friend, I must once again ask you for prayer.  Please pray for my friend C, who even today, a couple of months later, is not able to walk properly yet, without pain.

Thank you.  May God bless you.

Loving Prayer Request...

In yesterday's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, I discussed about how I drove to Guelph, Ontario, to meet with a Facebook (FB) friend from England, and her friends who she had been staying with while in Canada.

As I said previously, I truly enjoyed meeting with C and her Canadian friends, D & G!  I'm looking forward to seeing them, again.

After we left Tim Hortons, they headed to Niagara Falls.  Just as they had planned to do.

I made my way to where my brother, B lives.

It was nice being able to visit B.  And his girlfriend, P who was visiting him that day.

Together, we talked and talked.  And, celebrated B's birthday that was happening the following week.

Our tea time was nice, too!

While at B's apartment, it was rather disturbing that he had gotten rid of some of his furniture.  Not due to financial reasons.

Because B had both his kidneys removed a few years ago, and has not yet received a kidney transplant, he has to take dialysis, daily.

B doesn't go to the hospital to have this done, as he used to do.  He actually has a unit at home, similar to what is used at the hospital.

In order to use the equipment, he has to use liquids and other items to make everything function well.

Where was all this stored?  In his livingroom, bedroom and bathroom!

Seeing all those boxes taking up space in his apartment made me realize how disturbing it was for my brother to have to live like this.  After all, his living accommodation looked more like a storage unit.

Sigh...

Yes, I had been there in the past.  But, never before had I seen this.

I felt badly for my brother.

After all, he needs a kidney.

For, if he is able to have a transplant done, then he may be able to live a more normal life.  And, not have to be on dialysis... daily.

Please know that I love and have prayed for my brother.

Just so you know, he has come to know and worship our Lord.  For this, I praise God!

After all, God's will is always done.  And, His will is His will.  Not ours.

Yet, He has told us that we can pray, and whatever we pray for, if it is His will, He will give us the desire of our heart.

Just like we read in various Bible verses.  Like, Psalm 37:4, "Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart."

Delighting ourselves in our Lord, is so very important.  Just as we read, in today's Bible verse.

I believe He will give us the desire of our hearts.   The desire of all... including my brother's, his family and friends, and mine.

Of course, everything is done in His time.  Not ours.  So, until it happens, we must continue in prayer.

My friend... please join me in prayer for my brother, B.  He truly needs all the prayer he can get.

Thank you.  May God bless you.

Loving Another...

If you've read entries here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) for quite a while, you'll know that I travelled last July to Lake Havasu City, Arizona, USA.

Because I had so much that I wanted to write about, it took me quite a while to finish up discussing my trip.

This sort of made me feel bad, in a way.

You see, when I returned home to Windsor, Ontario, Canada, I stayed home.  But, only for a couple of days.

Then, I took off, again.

This time, I didn't fly anywhere, though.  Instead, I went on a driving trip!

This was a very important trip to me.  After all, I had many people to see.  And, much to do.

You see, a Facebook (FB) friend of mine, C... had come to Canada.  She was visiting friends of hers in Orangeville, Ontario.

Knowing C and I wanted to meet each other, we chatted on FB.  C let me know that she and her friends were planning on going to Niagara Falls (NF), for the weekend.  And, that weekend was the last for C to visit here in Canada as she was flying home to England, on the Monday after their trip to NF.

Knowing that I had to see my brother in Guelph, Ontario, in addition to meeting C and her friends, we made plans.  D & G, agreed to meet in Guelph, at Tim Hortons!

This worked out well, not just because I was travelling to Guelph.  But, Guelph was along the way to where they planned to travel to, so it worked out well.

Even though we arranged a time to meet, they arrived sooner than I did.  You see, I had to drive through five (5)... yes, five (5) construction zones on Hwy. #401.

This was upsetting to me.  But, I was thankful that they had patience.

When we met, we enjoyed time together.

We talked, and talked, and talked.  If I remember correctly, we spent more than three (3) hours, together!

Wow!  What a time we had!

We found we felt the same about many things in life.  And, we were all Christians!

I must admit, I felt like I had known all of these people a long time, event though we had just met.

We quickly became friends.  I felt love towards them.  And, I could tell they felt love towards me.

Thinking about the love that seemed to be had by all, brought to mind 1 John 4:11, "Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another."

Yes, God wants us to love each other.  Just as we read, in today's Bible verse.

You may think that none of us felt love towards each other.  But, I must say, it was true.

In fact, C's friends let me know that the next time C comes to Canada to visit them, they hoped that I would also come to their home, and stay together.  This way, we can visit.  And, travel about, together.

Plus, G and I also became friends on FB!

I must admit, all of this made me feel so very loved.

Thank You, Lord!

Love...

On Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday, I mentioned that I was going to worship.  Like I do, every SONday.

Did I go alone?  Not like I did last week.

You see, my granddaughter, A was not well last week.  So, she didn't come with me, to attend Sunday school.

However, A was feeling improved, so she came with me to worship, yesterday.

For this, I was truly happy.  And, thankful to God!

After all, having A attend Sunday school, I know she'll come to know Jesus.  And, love Him.

Love is so very important.

At least, to me.

For without love, life isn't easy.

How wonderful it is that He loves us!

Thinking of God's love for us, made me think of 1 John 4:19, "We love him, because he first loved us."

Yes, I love Him.

But, I know I love Him, because He first loved me.

For this, I am truly thankful.

And, I pray that you feel the same.  For God has loved you, just as He loves me.

Hopefully, you do love Him.

If you trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, you definitely love Him.  And, He loves you.

For this, I will always be thankful!

It Is...

This week, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I discussed my health problem that has arisen.

Being SONday, I will be heading to go worship with my church family.  Just as I normally do.

Worship is so important to me.  And, so is music... just as you know.

I want to let you know, that on August 26th, I awoke with feelings of various sorts.

A song/hymn was important to me that day.  And, I sang parts of it, over and over again.

It is by Hillsong and is entitled, It Is Well With My Soul.  Here is a link for you to listen and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cv5V3bY6qlI.  The lyrics are below.

It Is Well With My Soul

When peace like a river
Attendeth my way
When sorrows like sea billows roll
Whatever my lot
You have taught me to say
It is well
It is well with my soul

But Lord it's for Thee
For Thy coming we wait
The sky not the grave is our goal
Oh trump of the angel
Oh voice of the Lord
Blessed hope
Blessed rest of my soul

It is well... with my soul
It is well
It is well with my soul

You are the Rock
On which I stand
By Your grace it is well
My hope is sure
In Christ my Saviour
It is well with my soul

It is well... with my soul
It is well
It is well with my soul

You are the Rock
On which I stand
By Your grace it is well
My hope is sure
In Christ my Saviour
It is well with my soul

You are the Rock
On which I stand
By Your grace it is well
My hope is sure
In Christ my Saviour
It is well with my soul

As someone who truly adores Christian music, I must let you know that even though that hymn is a very old one, most churches today seem to use the newer version, like this one I've shared with you, today.

Even so, I am grateful for the extra lyrics, that speak about Him.  For Jesus is my Saviour.  And, the Rock on which I stand.

Thinking about how we need to rely upon our Rock, made me think about Matthew 7:24, "Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:"

As I said, Jesus Christ, is the Rock upon which we must stand.

He gives all who are trusting in/believing upon Him, everything we need to get through life.  Including... salvation.

It's by knowing this, that I can truly say... it is well with my soul.  Even if my life isn't going as well as I would like it.

For this, I praise my Lord.  And, always will!

Testify...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), from time to time, I let you know what movies I have watched.  Much like I will do, today.

If you know me well, you'll know that I do enjoy newer moves.  However, I adore older movies!

Here are some I recently watched:

The Three Muskateers, starring Gene Kelly and Lana Turner.  It's an adventure film that is truly spectacular, especially when it comes to fight scenes.  Here's a link for you to check it out:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Three_Musketeers_(1948_film).  I guess you can tell, I enjoyed it!

The Last Tycoon, starring Robert De Niro, Tony Curtis, Robert Mitchum, Jack Nicholson, and many more!  Here is a link for you to check out this dramatic film:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Last_Tycoon_(1976_film).  Hope you enjoy it, if you watch it.  I did!

The Freshman, starring Marlon Brando, Matthew Broderick, and more.  Check out this crime comedy film, here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Freshman_(1990_film).  It was an okay film, but not always funny, to me.

Escape from New York, starring Kurt Russell, Lee Van Cleef, Ernest Borgnine, Donald Pleasance and more.  To check out this action film, click here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Escape_from_New_York.  To be honest, even though this movie had great actors, I wasn't fond of it.

Will Penny, starring Charlton Heston, Joan Hackett, Donald Pleasance, and more.  Here is a link so you can check out this western film:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Will_Penny.  I enjoyed this film even though there was broken love, in it.

Even though I enjoyed most of these films, I must admit, that watching them reminded me that my opinion about them isn't really that important.

At least, not to the world.  After all, I am not really important to many.  I'm not some important and well-paid movie critic.

Thinking about this, brought to mind Acts 20:24, "But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God."

Just as we read in today's Bible verse, none of these things seem to move me much.

Neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

I truly do not believe within me, that I am important in life.  However, I do want to do my work for my Lord, Jesus Christ.

By doing this, I can testify about the gospel of the grace of God.  And, how our Lord, Jesus Christ, came to earth, suffered and died for the sin of the world, granting us Salvation because we trust in/believe upon Him.

So, while movies are nice to me, I must admit that my work for God is even better!

Always!

Before beginning today's entry here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I would like to say that I am thinking about what happened on September 11th, 2001.  And, will continue praying to God... always.  After all, what happened that day, opened the door for troubles to begin regarding terrorism, not just in USA, but also, in Canada... and other countries.  And, killed many people, who are missed by their family and friends.  Please, join me in prayer.  Thank you.  Blessings...

If you've read entries here on LwL over the past couple of days, you'll know that I am in need of healing.  And, emotionally suffered for a while.

As you probably understood, after your recent readings, I came to accept what is happening to me.

Does this mean I am happy.  No, I'm not.

I truly don't want to have to deal with any more trials in my life.  That's why I found myself praying that God would take me home, to Heaven... to be with Him, rather than leave me here on earth to suffer over and over again.

After calming down, and accepting the fact that I need medical help once again, I apologized to God.

And, I prayed... letting Him know that I realized that if He truly wanted me to be home in Heaven with Him, He would have probably already taken me home.

Since I am still here on earth, I realize that God's will is for me to continue doing work for Him.

Just as we read, in 1 Corinthians 15:58, "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."

Yes, I need to be stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as I know, my labour is not in vain in the Lord.

So, I will continue working for Him.  As long as I am here on earth.

I will praise Him, love and adore Him, thank Him... and trust Him.

Always.

Chances Are...

Every now and then, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I discuss how music resonates within me, from time to time.

Almost none of you are aware of the physical health problem I am going through, now.  Even though I have not asked many to pray for me, I have prayed, asking God to heal me.

Through this upsetting situation, I have asked God to take me home, to be with Him, rather than leave me here on earth.  But, He hasn't.

So, God obviously wants me to be here.

While I won't discuss the medical issue I am experiencing, I will let you know that God has made it clear to me how much He loves me.

After praying greatly one evening, I awoke the next day with music resonating within me.

The song is by Johnny Mathis.  It is entitled, Chances Are.  Here is a link for you to listen to it and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LkyuuWnmag.  The lyrics are below.

Chances Are

Chances are, 'cause I wear that silly grin
the moment you come into view;
chances are you think that I'm in love with you.

Just because my composure sort-of slips
the moment that your lips meet mine,
chances are you think my heart's your Valentine.

In the magic of moonlight,
when I sigh "hold me close, dear"
chances are you believe
the stars that fill the skies are in my eyes.

Guess you feel you'll always be
the one and only one for me
and if you think you could,
well, chances are your chances are awfully good!

Chances are you believe
the stars that fill the skies are in my eyes.

Guess you feel you'll always be
the one and only one for me
and if you think you could,
well, chances are your chances are awfully good!

The chances are your chances are awfully good!

As I'm sure you are aware, the lyrics of this song cannot relate 100% to me, regarding what I had prayed to God about.

But, I do believe this music/lyrics were on my heart and mind, resonating within me as a response from God.

I do believe this was His way of answering my prayer, to let me know that He was truly loving me.

You see, with feeling so emotionally upset, and not wanting to suffer any longer here on earth, I had prayed, asking God to let me know that He still loved me.

In my heart, I knew He did love me.  Even though I had prayed that way.

But still, He answered my prayer, and let me know once again, of His love for me.  Thank you, Lord!

Thinking about His love, brought to mind John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Yes, He loved the world so very much, that He sent His only begotten Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ to earth.  Jesus suffered and paid the price for our sin, so that whoever believeth in Him should not perish, but would receive everlasting life.

When I awoke that morning, I knew it was His will for me to not be home with Him in Heaven, but rather, that I should be here on earth.

Knowing this, I realize that He still wants me to do work for Him.

So, I will.

For I want to be obedient unto Him.

Always.

Making...

If you read yesterday's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, you'll know that I am once again in need of healing.  And, of medical care.

Did this physical situation make me feel good?  No.

You see, I've had swelling off and on.

Swelling, that I originally thought may have been due to the Seroma (pocket of fluid) still inside me, that could become the basis for cancer, or become an abscess and kill me, or cause swelling problems, since our medical system has not yet dealt with that problem... and won't for quite a while.  Eventually, if I'm still alive, I will have that necessary surgery.

But now, the medical help I need is truly important, for swelling has not become the problem I am dealing with.  It's far more serious than that.

The pain and suffering I've been experiencing, is not fun.  Not in any way.

And, I will truly need a specialist that can fix my body.  Unless of course, God gives me a miracle healing.

Have I been happy about dealing with this issue in my life?  No.

In fact, I felt so upset at first, that I actually prayed, asking God to take me home.

Why would I do this?  Well, I believe if you were experiencing what I am, you would probably do the same.

After all, after being cut open six (6) times since that emergency surgery for the incarcerated hernia, in September 2012 (almost three [3] years ago), and knowing I already need one (1) more surgery, knowing this serious problem existed, didn't make me happy.  In fact, it made me sad.

I don't believe any of you know this, but I have had at least 15 surgeries in my life.  :(

Some not life threatening, and some that were.  Some extremely major, and some that weren't.  None from communicable diseases, but most from my body being injured through various situations that have affected my life.

In any case, I began to feel overwhelmed by needing emergency medical care.  Especially, since I was only able to obtain it through the hospital emergency room (ER) doctor, and not through the Muslim doctor that feels he would rather refer me to someone else.

You may be asking yourself why I am feeling like this.

Well, if you were in my shoes, you wouldn't like this medical situation.  Nor, any from the past.

It seems I never have anything normal to deal with.  It's always been something that is rare to be dealt with.

This makes it hard to get help.  Especially, through our medical system here in Ontario, Canada.

We do not have control over our healthcare.

The system does.

We cannot see any doctor we wish to.  We do not have any control over our situation.  Nor, can we even be guaranteed to receive the treatment we need.

Just like my now deceased husband Gordon, didn't get, when he was alive.

So, I felt I would rather be taken home to Heaven, than to remain here on earth to hurt, and suffer.  :(  lol :)

I prayed, over and over again. Of course, I cried.

And, I even found myself asking God why I need to suffer, and suffer, and suffer... over, and over, and over again.  lol  Even though, I already know that His plan is to allow us to suffer.

Just as we read in 1 Peter 5:10, "But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you."

Once my head stopped being shocked, and upset, I reminded myself that God has told us, that we will suffer, here in our earthly lives.  Just as we read in today's Bible verse.

The suffering we experience for a while will make us perfect, stablish, strengthen and settle us... for God has called us unto His eternal Glory by Christ Jesus.

So, whatever will be, will be.

And, I will continue to trust God, to overcome, once again.

I'll trust Him for my healing.

And, I'll trust Him for absolutely everything in my life.

Until next time...

Fretting Not...

Sometimes, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I have mentioned health concerns.  Even though I won't give details, I must admit that once again I am in need of healing.

On August 5th, I went to the Emergency Room (ER) at a local hospital.

The ER doctor, happened to be a physician who had taken care of me in the past, regarding some of those health issues I faced before my dangerous surgery in 2014.

After being examined, this ER doctor let me know what was wrong.

When I asked him why this was happening, he responded.  He let me know that possibly when I was reconstructed during that dangerous traumatic surgery last year, it might be that everything in my abdomen may not have been properly placed.

I realize this may be the case.  Or, it may not.

No matter what the cause, I do need healing.

I was referred to a specialist.  The ER doctor arranged an emergency appointment, so I would be able to quickly see the specialist.

Within a few days, I saw the specialist I had been referred to.

He wanted me to go for testing, and for an ultrasound.  Plus, he let me know that even though he felt he could help me, he wanted to refer me to another specialist, who he said he felt was better able to help me.

Did I receive an emergency appointment with that specialist that this specialist referred me to?  No.

In fact, I was told I had to wait until November 23rd to see him.

When I called the office of the specialist who I was to see on November 23rd, the answering machine message let me know he was away on holidays.

I left a message, asking why I would have to wait so long, when the ER doctor who set things up, considered my situation to be an emergency.  Then, I did the same with the specialist I had seen, having to leave a message on his answering service.

I heard back from the office of the specialist I had seen.  The appointment was changed to November 2nd.

Sigh...

After having the testing and the ultrasound done, I saw that specialist who wanted to refer me to the other doctor.  He let me know the tests turned out acceptable, even though my physical condition is in need of correction.

At that time, I asked him why his office had not made the referral to the other specialist he wants me to see, as an emergency appointment, just as the hospital ER doctor had with him.

He didn't explain.  Instead, this Muslim doctor let me know that he would contact the specialist he was referring me to, and request an immediate appointment.

This was on August 25th.

Knowing this specialist I saw was Muslim, I even wondered if he had lied to me.  After all, Taqiyya teaches that it is okay for Islamic people to lie to infidels.

Just so you know, infidels are... unbelievers of Islam.  Like me, and others, who are not Muslims.

Why do I think this?  Because I have NOT heard from that specialist or his office.

If he was truthful, either he would have contacted me, or his office would have contacted me.  But, they haven't.

Even though I feel this was evilness done to me, I am going to continue trusting God.  And, not worry.

Thinking about not worrying, brought to mind Psalm 37:1-2, "Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.
For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb."

I praise God that He has placed it on my heart to not fret... or worry.  Whether or not these Muslims running that medical office were evil to me or not, only God knows.

The good news is, that if they were, God will deal with them.  He'll deal with the specialist and the Muslim workers of his office.

As for me?

I've already forgiven them.   And, have prayed for them.

I'll continue to pray that each of them will gain salvation, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.  Just as everyone in this world who has not yet gained salvation, needs to do .

Plus, I'll wait upon the Lord, for my help and healing.

Please, join me in prayer.  May God bless you, for doing so.

Glenn & Happy Labour Day!

Before I begin today's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, I would like to say that if my brother Glenn was alive, today would be his birthday.

I must admit, I truly miss Glenn.  And, I love him.  But, I will look forward to seeing him again some day, in Heaven!

Today, is a special day.  It's a national holiday, here in Canada

While some other countries celebrate Labour/Labor Day, some do on different days.

However, USA celebrates it on the same day as we do here, in Canada.  Today!  So, Happy Labor Day, to you!

Happy Labour Day
to
all who celebrate it!

Enjoy your time off,
fellow workers!

Thinking of
how we all need to work,
reminded me of...
Colossians 3:23,
"And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;"

Yes, my friend...
when we work,
we need to do as we just read.
We need to work heartily,
as unto the Lord.

By doing so,
you'll be blessed.

Enjoy your day off work.
Happy Labour Day!

Until next time...

Rock!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I will once again enjoy worshipping God, since it is SONday!

Being our Lord's Day, I'll be picking up my granddaughter A.  Together, we will join my church family to worship God!

Some music I listened to, stayed with me for a while.  It was by Maranatha and is entitled, Rock Of My Salvation.  Here is a link for you to listen and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-cMcsS2nOII.  The lyrics are below.

Rock Of My Salvation

You are the rock of my salvation.
You are the strength of my life.
You are my hope and my inspiration.
Lord unto You will I cry.

I believe in you, believe in you.
For your faithful love to me.
You have been my help
in time of need.
Lord unto You will I cleave.

You are the rock of my salvation.
You are the strength of my life.
You are my hope and my inspiration.
Lord unto You will I cry.

You are the rock of my salvation.
You are the strength of my life.
You are my hope and my inspiration.
Lord unto You will I cry.

I believe in you, believe in you.
For your faithful love to me.
You have been my help
in time of need.
Lord unto You will I cleave.

I believe in you, believe in you.
For your faithful love to me.
You have been my help
in time of need.
Lord unto You will I cleave.

You are the rock of my salvation.
You are the strength of my life.
You are my hope and my inspiration.
Lord unto You will I cry.

I believe in you, believe in you.
For your faithful love to me.
You have been my help
in time of need.
Lord unto You will I cleave.

You are the rock of my salvation.
You are the strength of my life.

Just as the lyrics tell us, He is the rock of my salvation.  And, He is so much more.

Unto Him, will I cry.

Thinking about the rock of my salvation, brought to mind Psalm 62:2, "He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved."

Yes, I believe in Him.  And, will cleave unto Him.

After all, He is my hope and inspiration.  And, the rock of my salvation.

My friend, is our Lord this to you?
