The Gift...

As you're probably aware, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I go worship on our Lord's Day.  Just as I will do, today!

Being SONday, I will worship God, in spirit and in truth.  And, of course, through music!

The hymn I am sharing with you today, is by H. Lillenas and Lari Goss.  It's entitled, Wonderful Grace of Jesus.  Here is a link for you to listen to it and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsPc-Ix3_ow.  The lyrics are below.

Wonderful Grace of Jesus

Wonderful grace of Jesus
Greater than all my sin
How shall my tongue describe it?
Where shall its praise begin?
Taking away my burden, setting my spirit free
For the wonderful grace of Jesus reaches me

Wonderful the matchless grace of Jesus
Deeper than the mighty rolling sea
Higher than the mountain
Sparkling like a fountain
All sufficient grace for even me
Broader than the scope of my transgressions
Greater far than all my sin and shame
O magnify the precious name of Jesus
Praise His name!

Wonderful grace of Jesus
Reaching to all the lost
By it I have been pardoned
Saved to the uttermost
Chains have been torn asunder, giving me liberty
For the wonderful grace of Jesus reaches me

Wonderful the matchless grace of Jesus
Deeper than the mighty rolling sea
Higher than the mountain
Sparkling like a fountain
All sufficient grace for even me
Broader than the scope of my transgressions
Greater far than all my sin and shame
O magnify the precious name of Jesus
Praise His name!

Yes, I praise His name.  Always!

Thinking about our Lord, Jesus' grace given to us, brought to mind Ephesians 4:7, "But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ."

After all, the grace we receive is given to us, according to the measure of the gift of Christ.  Just as we read in today's Bible verse.

I am truly thankful.  And, always will be!

Until next time...
