Sweat?!

If you read yesterday's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, you'll know that I wrote about weather.  And, about how different it is in Nevada and Arizona, USA, than it is at home in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

As I mentioned yesterday on LwL, the temperatures were much higher in Nevada and Arizona, USA than they are at home in Canada.

Even so, I did not sweat there, like I do at home.

Once again, I must say that this is due to the much higher rates of humidity we have in my city, than what they have where I visited in USA.  :(

How do I know this?

Well, after I flew back to Detroit, Michigan, USA, I was shuttled from the airport to where my van had been parked while I was away.  I picked up my van and drove home. 

Yes, I crossed the border.  But, only after stopping for lunch and bringing home some Mexican food from my favourite restaurant in Detroit!  :)

Even though the time of driving is only about 30 - 45 minutes (depending upon traffic), I was soaking wet by the time I arrived home.

Was the temperature like it was in USA where I had been?  No.

But, due to humidity, it felt even higher than it did, there!

Sigh...

Of course, part of the problem was that my air-conditioning in my van, wasn't working.  But, I had the windows open, and air blew in and helped me to not be overwhelmed, physically.

Even so, God helps me.  Just as He does all who belong to Him.

Like we read, in Isaiah 41:13, "For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee."

Yes, God helps me.  And, He holds my right hand, telling me that I should fear not.

Well, because I trust Him, I don't fear. 

For this, I praise God!  And, thank Him!

Thank You, Lord!

So, to all who asked why I would want to go to Arizona in summertime, you now know the answer.

It's dryer there, than at home!
