Shall... & Did!

As you know, if you've been reading Life with Lynnie (LwL) lately, I spent time in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, USA, with my cousin, E and her husband, E.

If you've read recent LwL entries, you'll know that I discussed the fact that they are born-again Christians, who worship at Calvary Baptist Church, in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, USA.

You may or may not be aware that when I worshipped there on this recent trip, it was not the first time I had done so.  Back in the summer of 2013, I had also worshipped there.

At that time, I had brought a few copies of the book I wrote entitled, Love Never Fails You...

I hadn't brought many, but gave some to my cousin and a few other people.  Including her pastor, who had preached a sermon based upon the fact that Love Never Fails!

On this recent vacation trip, I only brought a couple of copies of Love Never Fails You... with me.

My intention was to give a copy to my Facebook (FB) friend, who I met while I was in Laughlin, Nevada.  I did this.

Why God placed it on my heart and mind, to bring another copy with me, was beyond my understanding.  But, the Holy Spirit led me, so I did it.

While my cousin E was working as a greeter during the first (1st) of the two (2)worship services we attended, a lady sat next to me.

We said 'hello' to each other.  And, enjoyed singing worship songs with all who were in the sanctuary.

One of the songs we sang was based upon the fact that love never fails.  :)

My heart and mind then understood why I needed to bring that second (2nd) copy of  Love Never Fails You...

That lady seated next to me, smiled at me.  I smiled at her.

Then, I asked if she liked that music.  She did.

I took out of my purse, that other copy of Love Never Fails You... and asked her if she would like to have it.

After looking at the cover and realizing it is meant to help those who need to overcome life's trials and grief, she let me know she absolutely did want it!  So, I signed it for her, and gave it to her.

To me, it is amazing how God provides for all our needs.

Just as we read, in Philippians 4:19, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

God supplied for this lady's need.  You see, this sister in the Lord let me know that she was suffering.

We prayed, together.  And, thanked God for all He does for us!

This truly made my heart feel good.  And, made me feel thankful.

After all, God led me to do something that He planned to happen.  Hallelujah!

Until next time...
