You may recall that I flew on July 4th, from Detroit, Michigan, USA to Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Hopefully, you read about how awful my time was spent waiting many hours for Thrifty Car Rental, to process my on-line rental and provide me with the vehicle.
If you read all of this, then I'm sure you read about me driving from Las Vegas, to Searchlight, Nevada, where I stayed overnight at B V Motel.
After speaking with owner/manager Brad, and checking out of the motel, I made my way south on Hwy. #95. Along the way, I took some photos. Here they are!

After going S. on Nevada Hwy. #95, I turned left (east)
onto Laughlin Hwy. (I used to call this Laughlin Rd., but now
it is called Laughlin Hwy.)
It only took me about a half hour to get to Laughlin. In Canada, most people would call this... Locklin, but here in Nevada and in Arizona, they call it... Lofflin.
I arrived in Laughlin, NV!
Although I have been here in the past, I had never before seen that welcome to Laughlin, greeting.
Nor, had I ever seen the way it had changed over the many years, since I had been there.
To me, it sort of reminded me of a mini Las Vegas, the way it had been years, and years, ago. In my mind, it looked totally different than the last time I had seen this town.
Change is real. And, necessary.
Let's face it. Life never stays the same. Nor, does towns, villages and/or cities.
Unlike our Lord, Jesus Christ. Who is the same, always.
Just as we read, in Hebrews 13:8, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever."
How grateful I am for Jesus.
How thankful I am that He is the same yesterday, today and forever!
While locations, life and lifestyles change, He will never change.
He'll be with us always... even 'til the end of the age.
