S, T, M & C!

Would you be surprised, if I let you know here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) that I didn't go to worship, yesterday?

Well, the good news is, you don't need to be surprised.  There is no surprise to be had.

I went to worship!  :)

Like normal, I spent time with my church family at our Bible study/Adult Sunday school class.  Afterwards, we all entered the sanctuary.

We worshipped God.  In spirit (S).  In truth (T).  And, through music (M).  Just like we usually do!

Being the first SONday of the month, we celebrated communion.

This made me truly happy!  If you know me, you know that I adore taking communion (C).

After all, this means we honour our Lord, Jesus Christ.  And, are obedient to God's calling.

Just as we read, in 1 Corinthians 11:26, "For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come."

He told us in today's Bible verse that we need to eat the bread and drink the cup.  By doing so, we show the Lord's death, until He comes.

God is the same yesterday, today and forever.  He will never change.

Nor, will He ever want us to change what His Word, the Bible tells us to do.

So, by taking communion, we honoured and glorified Him!

This makes me feel so very good.  After all, Jesus loves us.

And, we need to show Him that we love Him.

Not just now.  But, forever... until He returns for us.
