Know and Believe!

Once again, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be sharing with you about this being SONday.  And, how we need to worship God.

I do.  Hopefully, you do, also.

As I'm sure you are aware, I enjoy worshipping Him, through music, also.

The hymn I'm sharing with you today, is by Charles Wesley.  It's entitled, Love Divine, All Loves Excelling.  Here is a link for you to listen and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_hmfqe_8SEI.  The lyrics are below.

Love Divine, All Loves Excelling

Love divine, all loves excelling,
joy of heaven, to earth come down,
fix in us thy humble dwelling,
all thy faithful mercies crown.
Jesus, thou art all compassion,
pure, unbounded love thou art;
visit us with thy salvation;
enter every trembling heart.

Breathe, oh, breathe thy loving Spirit
into every troubled breast;
let us all in thee inherit;
let us find thy promised rest.
Take away the love of sinning;
Alpha and Omega be;
end of faith, as its beginning,
set our hearts at liberty.

Come, Almighty, to deliver,
let us all thy grace receive;
suddenly return, and never,
nevermore thy temples leave.
Thee we would be always blessing,
serve thee as thy hosts above,
pray and praise thee without ceasing,
glory in thy perfect love.

Finish, then, thy new creation;
pure and spotless let us be;
let us see thy great salvation
perfectly restored in thee:
changed from glory into glory,
till in heaven we take our place,
till we cast our crowns before thee,
lost in wonder, love and praise.

Just as this hymn tells us, love is our absolute need.  From God. and to God.

After all, God is love.

And, He shows us love.  Always.

Just as we read, in 1 John 4:16, "And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him."

God loves us.

He loves the saved and the unsaved.

The difference is that when we who are saved, dwell in love, we dwell in God.  And, God dwells in us.

My friend, if you haven't yet come to Christ, you need to.

We all need salvation.  And, you will only receive salvation and the true love of God within you, if you trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Do this.

Once you have, God will not only be most important to you, but you will be very important to Him.

Until next time...
