Today, on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be letting you know about how happy I was about something that relates to both my cousin and her husband.
I was happy to hear that my cousin E and her husband E, both help out at their church. This might sound strange to you.
But, there is something that I'd like to say, that makes my heart feel so very good. Both of them are born-again Christians!
Yes, they are both saved. They are trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ!
For this, I praise God! Thank You, Lord! Hallelujah!
Why does this make me so happy?
Well, as you may have already read here on LwL in the past, both my cousin and her husband had dated about 45 years ago. But, at that time, neither of them were Christian.
They both had been considered Jewish. Both had at least one Jewish parent. And, they had not come to Christ, at that time.
As discussed previously, they both had lives that didn't involve time with each other. Marriage was with other people.
However, they have now been married about two and a half (2 1/2) years. And, both had come to Christ, prior to them meeting up, again! :) Hallelujah!
During our time together, we enjoyed talking about our Lord. And, we watched a few movies and taped sermons, that were Christian.
Here's a few:
* The Isaiah 9-10 Judgement, by Rabbi Jonathan Cahn. We actually watched pt. 2. But, here is a link for pt. 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ur2S-ajcljY. No, we didn't watch this online. We watched a DVD. It was a true blessing!
* Facing The Giants, a Christian movie. It's a wonderful film that I believe all should watch.
* Fireproof, another Christian movie. This is a film that I actually bought a few copies of in the past, to give away. I adore this movie, and believe everyone needs to watch it!
It amazes me how God provides for us Christians. In so many ways.
And, how He answers prayer.
Just as we read, in Matthew 21:21-22, "Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive."
I must admit, I have faith. And, prayed that God would answer my prayer, by providing salvation for my cousin.
He did! And, I'm so thankful for this.
You see, for many years, I prayed for my cousin. I prayed she would become saved. Become a born-again Christian.
God not only did this for her, but also for her husband. This happened to them both, before they met up, again and got married.
All I can say about this, is... thank You, Lord!
Until next time...
