Yes? Or... No?

Today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be discussing something that may be surprising to some of you.

On June 29, 2015, I saw this posting on Facebook (FB).  It was by abcnews.go.com and was entitled, Bulletin Warns of Heightened Threat of ISIS Attack on July 4th.  Here is a link, to read it and watch the video:  http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/bulletin-warns-heightened-threat-isis-attack-july-4th/story?id=32102380.

Was this important?  To you?  To me?  To anyone?

Hopefully, not.

To be honest, I cannot say for sure.

Why?

Because, I wrote this blog entry, and set it to be published, on July 14th.  This means that when I wrote this LwL entry and set it to be published, I had no idea what would happen on that date.

You may be wondering why I did this.  It's because I had planned to go on vacation, on Saturday, July 4th.

Knowing that date is my American friends' special day when their annual celebrations take place, regarding their country, I was aware that it was risky to plan to fly on that date. 

Especially, since I would be crossing the border, from Canada.  And, flying from Detroit, Michigan, USA.

Where was I going?  I was going to visit my cousin E, and her husband E, in Arizona.

Nope, I wasn't flying to Phoenix.  That is not the closest airport.

I was flying to Las Vegas, Nevada.  This is the closest airport to where my family members live in AZ, USA.

As I said earlier, today... July 14th, is the day I am due to return home.  Hopefully, this is what will happen!

Of course, if ISIS members, or Muslims who support them were to proceed with attacking within USA's borders, then there is no way I would know in advance if the airplane I will have flown on, would be okay.  Or, if it would be destroyed.  Much like what happened, in 9/11.

Hopefully, that ABC News bulletin shared with you, is only set as a warning, that not good things might happen.

Truly, until after I arrive in Las Vegas, I will not be aware if anything happened, or not.

Sigh...  lol  :) :(

Since this is written and pre-published before July 4th has happened, this is something that only God knows. 

After all, He knows the plans He has for us.

Just as He told us, in Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV), "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

His plans for us, who belong to Him, are to prosper us, and not harm us, to give us hope and a future!

How wonderful is this!

Does this mean that the airplane I am travelling on won't crash?  Only God knows.

Let's face it.  Even if I were to die, His plan for me would be wonderful. 

After all, I would no longer be here on earth.  And, would no longer be struggling with life.

Instead, I would be in Heaven with Him.  And, enjoying every minute, honouring Him.

Of course, this is only the case for people like me, who belong to Him. 

Do you belong to Him?

Are you truly Christian?

Did you gain salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ?

If not, you wouldn't be along side of me, in the airplane, and going to where I will go, if it crashes.  Instead, you'd spend eternity in Hell, separated from God.  With no chance of escape.

Hopefully, you are a brother or sister in the Lord, who has gained salvation.  :)  If so, we'll be together, one day.

Oops... I suppose I should say that I pray this is the case.  After all, I have no idea if I'll be writing another blog entry on LwL, or not.

God knows.  :)  And, I will too, if I arrive home.
