Wowee!

From time to time, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I let you know about music that played on my heart and mind.  Today, I will be letting you know about some.

When I awoke on Wednesday morning, a song resonated throughout me.

Once again, I must admit, I am not totally sure why this song was on my mind.  But, please realize I do not think it is in reference to what I wrote about in yesterday's LwL entry.

I believe it was God. 

And, believe He was reminding me about how much He loves me.  Especially, since I am not a perfect person.

We can read about God's love, in 1 John 3:1-3, "Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
² Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
³ And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure."

Many verses in the Bible speak as though they refer only to men.  But, when they speak about man, they are referring to mankind.  People.  So women, know that most of those verses refer to you, also.

Just as we read in today's verses, God bestowed love upon us.  So much, that we should be called sons (or children) of God.

Yes, the world knows us not, because it knows Him, not.  

Even so, we who are children of God, know that while we do not know what we will be like in the future, we know that ultimately we shall become like Him.  We shall see Him, as He is.  And, every person who has this hope in Him, purifies himself/herself... even as He is pure.

To me, it is wonderful knowing that I am a child of God.

Are you a child of His?

Have you received salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ?

Hopefully, you have.

If not, you may get though this life okay.  But, you will suffer throughout eternity... forever... being separated from God.  And, will spend eternity in Hell... with no chance of escape.

If you are trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, then I will one day see you, in Heaven.

And, we will be blessed... forever.
