Utterly Amazing!

If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday, you'll know that I enjoyed watching a Christian movie entitled, Do You Believe?

Normally, at the church where Christian movies are shown, it is only done on a Saturday evening.  However, if you read yesterday's LwL entry, you'll know that I said I watched it there, on the Friday evening.

From time to time, that church group does something like this, when they expect that many, many people will attend.

However, on Friday evening, there weren't many people, there.

To me, it was disappointing.  Especially, since the film was absolutely amazing!

You should know that after the film ended on the Friday evening, and I left the church, I made my way to a friend's home, which was only a few blocks away.

There, I spoke with her and her mother-in-law.  Yes, I told them about the movie, and suggested they go see it, the next evening, on Saturday.

My friend said they would.  And, they did!

How do I know?

I went back on Saturday evening.  I watched the movie, again!

Along with those friends, there were other friends in attendance.

Some, I hadn't invited.  But, they attended.

Others, were brought by a friend of mine, who let me know late Friday evening that she would attend.  And, did!

What a wonderful time we all had together on Saturday evening!  Watching the movie, of course.

But afterwards, we enjoyed talking together.  We did this, while we ate some cookies that were provided for us all.  Mmmm... they were delicious!  :)

I must admit, God provided for me, in another way.

You see, on Friday evening, I had left, without my jacket.  And, hadn't realized I had left it there, until I was about to leave to go there again, on Saturday evening.

When I arrived at the church, someone brought me my jacket.  Even before I asked.

Having that happen, amazed me.  And, made me think about Philippians 4:19, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

God knew my needs.  He knew I needed to obtain my jacket, once again.

And, He supplied for my needs.

In addition to receiving my jacket, He knew I felt I needed to watch the movie again.  And, be encouraged and thankful that I was able to do so.

You see, He knows all my needs.  And, yours, too.

He supplies all our needs, according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

My friend, I pray it is upon your heart, to love, honour and glorify Him.  For He is utterly amazing!

Until next time...
