'Tis So Sweet!

Before I begin today's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, I would like to wish my brother B, Happy Birthday!  May God bless you, today... and always!  xoxo

Here on LwL, I'll be letting you know that I will be going to meet up with my church family, once again.

This will be the first time all month.  And, I must admit... I am truly excited!

After our Bible study/Adult Sunday school class, we will go into the sanctuary.  And, we will worship God, together!

As I'm sure you are aware, I enjoy worshipping not just in spirit and in truth, just as we are to do.  I also enjoy worshipping through music.

The music I am sharing with you today, was written by William Kirkpatrick and Louisa Stead.  It's entitled, 'Tis So Sweet To Trust In Jesus.  Here is a link for you to listen and/or to sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DdgkvnsHjM.  The lyrics are below.

'Tis So Sweet To Trust In Jesus

'Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus
Just to take Him at His Word
Just to rest upon His promise
Just to know thus saith the Lord.

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him
How I proved Him o'er and o'er
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus
O for grace to trust Him more.

I'm so glad I learned to trust Him
Precious Jesus, Saviour, Friend;
And, I know that He is with me,
Will be with me to the end.

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him
How I proved Him o'er and o'er
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus
O for grace to trust Him more.

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him
How I proved Him o'er and o'er
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus
O for grace to trust Him more.

I'm so glad I learned to trust Him
Precious Jesus, Saviour, Friend;
And, I know that He is with me,
Will be with me to the end.

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him
How I proved Him o'er and o'er
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus
O for grace to trust Him more.

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him
How I proved Him o'er and o'er
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus
O for grace to trust Him more.

O for grace to trust Him more.

I must admit, I truly loved singing this hymn during a worship service, a while ago.

I truly trust Him.  And, God gives me grace to trust Him, more.

Thinking of this and how He is with us, even to the end, brought to mind Matthew 28:18-20 NIV, "Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”"

How thankful I am that He is with me, to the very end of the age.  Thank You, Lord!

While I am not a pastor, I believe that I am doing work for Him.  I may not be baptizing people, as a pastor would.

But, I do my best to help people understand their need for salvation.  And, do whatever I can to help teach others that they need to read, study and understand God's Word, the Bible.

This is the only way that people will understand what He has commanded us to do.

By doing what I can, I help others also understand that trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, is the only way to gain salvation.

Salvation, is truly what everyone needs.

I praise God for our Lord, Jesus Christ.

I praise Him for what He did for us.  And, always will.  Thank You, Lord!

Hallelujah!

Until next time...
