The Gift!

As I mentioned yesterday, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I went and joined my church family.  After all, it was SONday.  Our Lord's Day!

We did our Bible study/Adult Sunday school class.  Then, we worshipped together in the sanctuary.

Our pastor was away.  So, our Bible study/Adult Sunday school class teacher, preached for us.

I must admit, he was wonderful.  And, so was the topic he discussed.

His teaching/preaching was about... grace.

The Bible shows us that there are many ways that God has given us grace.  For this, I praise God.

But, the main way that I am thankful for, is that it is by grace we are saved.

Just as we read, in Ephesians 2:8-9, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast."

For this, I am truly thankful!  Thank You, Lord!

We all need to be saved.

There is no one, who doesn't need to be saved.  We all do!

Salvation, is not something we can achieve ourselves.

Just as we read in today's Bible verses, we are saved by grace through faith, and not of ourselves.  It is the gift of God.

God determines who He will save.  And, provides salvation for us, by having us trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Are you saved?

Hopefully so, my friend.

If not, you won't be happy later, how you spend eternity in Hell, separated from God... with no chance of escape.

If you are saved, then I know you'll be happy spending eternity in Heaven, with our Lord, Jesus Christ.

After all, He fulfilled God the Father's plan of redemption for us, creating a way for us to become saved.

Hopefully, one day I'll see you in Heaven.  May God bless you, my friend.

Until next time...
