Today, is one of those days.

Much like we did in Canada, on Canada's birthday,
my American friends will be celebrating
the United States of America's birthday!
Parades, gatherings and fireworks will take place.
As I've said in the past,
even though I am Canadian,
I feel like I am partly American,
since I lived there as a child.
God has provided for U.S.A. in many ways.
Especially, by providing freedom,
through those who fought for
and protected their country...
by those who loved our Lord, Jesus Christ.
This is how peace can be obtained.
Just as we read, in Romans 5:1, "Therefore being justified by faith,
we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:"
Yes, we as people have peace with God.
And, it's obtained through our Lord, Jesus Christ.
My friend, if you haven't yet obtained peace with God,
I pray you will do so, today.
