If you've read Life with Lynnie (LwL), for a very long time, you'll know that I've discussed in the past, how Calvary Community Church, in Tecumseh, Ontario, has movie nights once a month. Well, all through the year, except during the summer.
If you know me personally, or have been a long time reader of LwL, you'll know that I used to attend these movie nights. At least, before having those multiple surgeries/operations, that began in September 2012.
At times, I went either with friends, or a grandson who used to like to join me. Unfortunately, this time I went alone on Friday, June 26th.
The movie being shown that evening was entitled, Do You Believe?
Here is a YouTube link to the official trailer to Do You Believe?, this Christian drama movie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogIX2Q7tEdc.
Please don't take this the wrong way, when I let you know that it was an exceptional film!
Some people might think I'm saying this, because it is a Christian movie. The fact is, I've seen many, many Christian films, and have enjoyed many!
But, in my opinion, none were like this one! None!!!
If/when you decide to watch this movie, I'm sure it will blow your mind.
Nope... I don't want to tell you about it. I don't want to let you know what happens.
However, I will say that the writer(s) of this movie, are truly blessed!!!
Wow! What a job was done, creating the storyline that works up, and becomes a horribly tragic situation.
Yet, God provided! In many ways. For many people.
Especially, for those, who trusted in Him!
Much like we read, in Philippians 4:8-9, "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you."
Yes, we need to think about things that are true, honest and just. Along with things that are pure, lovely and of good report, with virtue and praise.
It is then, when our God of peace, shall be with us.
My friend, if you have a chance to see Do You Believe?, please... do so.
I believe it will touch your heart, just as it did, mine. And, will allow you to feel blessed.
Until next time...
