I thought I'd let you know, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), that I spent time with my daughter P, last Saturday.
On Saturday, I attended a baby shower. You see, W and my grandson D, are having a baby. D, is my daughter P's son.
Yes, I'll be a great-grandma, again! :)
No, this doesn't mean that I am an ancient woman! I'm not!!! :D
The baby shower was held in a backyard, where many people were seated. Also, there were many young children and babies, there!
My daughters B & P, joined me at the umbrella-topped table, where I was seated. We had a lovely time, together.
Like done at other showers, we played games. B and I won a game. P didn't. :(
Knowing that my daughter P had taken W for an ultrasound earlier that day, I was glad to hear things were okay with the baby due to arrive in the fall.
While seated, I noticed a woman that looked so very familiar. Yet, I couldn't recall where I had met her.
She came over to me, and we spoke. She reminded me that she used to worship with a church group, where I used to join in with, to help with, late in the afternoon on SONdays.
Aww! How nice it was to be reminded! I thanked her. And, we chatted. :)
It turns out, this sister in the Lord is W's aunt. :)
Thinking about how we are both born-again Christians, made me think about all the other people, there. Were they all saved?
I have no idea. Only God knows.
But, thinking of this, made me silently pray for them.
Thinking about how I prayed, asking God to save every person there, who may not yet have come to Christ, made me think of Ephesians 3:14-19, "For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God."
No. Today's Bible verses were not what I prayed. But, my prayer for all, was similar.
Please realize... some people think everyone will go to Heaven, after their life here on earth ends.
This is not the case.
Only those who are trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, shall be saved.
My friend, if you haven't yet come to Christ, please do so, today. Tomorrow, may be too late.
Until next time...
