Arabic Baptist Church...

From time to time, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I discuss special issues.  Today, will be one of those days.

As you can probably guess, I have some friends who are true Christians.  People who do work for the Lord.  And, some are pastors/ministers.

From a couple who live here in Ontario, I received an e-mail.  They asked me to pray for this church group, who had just found a new location.

After checking it out, I knew I absolutely would.  Pray I mean...

On the e-mail, there were links.

Hopefully, you would like to read about how this church group found their new location.  Here is a link to an article published by washingtonpost.com entitled, One Church's sunset means a new day for anotherhttp://www.washingtonpost.com/national/as-old-line-southern-baptist-churches-struggle-a-dying-one-has-an-epiphany/2015/05/30/b0662e82-058d-11e5-bc72-f3e16bf50bb6_story.html>.

If you read this article, you'll be aware that as changes were made, Scenic Baptist Church became the Arabic Baptist Church... in Murfreesboro, Tennessee (TN), USA.

Here is a link for you to check out the Arabic Baptist Church, there:  http://abcmboro.org/.
.
When I read the area named Murfreesboro, TN, I thought of a Facebook (FB) friend who used to live there.  She lived there, before she died.

Obviously, her family members lives have changed.

And, now... the situation with this new church group, and many Arabic people in the area, has also changed.

Is this bad?  Not really.

To many people, it may have not been good that my FB friend died.  To me, it wasn't.

However, knowing that there is so many Muslim people living in that area, that they built a mosque for the first time, shows that the population has basically changed, also.

How wonderful it is that even though things in our lives change, our Lord, doesn't.

Just as we are told in Hebrews 13:8, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever."

He will never change.  Not... ever!!!

He will never leave us, nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5).  He'll be with us always... even 'til the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).

For this, I praise Him!

And, will always be thankful!

Until next time...
