To Every...

As you read often after our Lord's Day, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I went to spend time with my church family, this past week.

Last Tuesday evening, I attended our Bible study class.

It was a lovely time to spend with my brothers and sisters in the Lord.  But, it was the last class that will be held, until September, this year.

Then yesterday, I spent time with my church family, as I normally do on SONdays.  Yes, I joined others at our Bible study/Adult Sunday school class.

Instead of having our usual teacher, we had missionaries.  Missionaries, who live here in Canada, in the Province of Saskatchewan.  Missionaries, who have helped plant a church for First Nations people.

If you would like to read about First Nations people, please click on this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Nations.

Both the wife and husband, led our class.  Plus, during our worship service, they both spoke, again.

Our pastor's sermon was absolutely wonderful!  Just as it normally is, where I worship at Walkerville Evangelical Baptist Church.

As you know if you know me, or if you have read LwL for a while, I was so very happy that yesterday's worship service was the first one for the month of June.  This meant that we had communion, together!

Communion, is so very important to me.  Just as you probably are aware, if you are familiar with what I look forward to, each month.

But, thinking about how wonderful it was to have missionaries worship and have communion with us, to me... was outstanding.

They are so special, for they do what we followers are commanded to do.  Just as we ourselves, who are followers should be doing.

After all, God wants us to reach out to others.  Like missionaries do.  And, like we who are followers of Christ, are supposed to do.

Just as we read, in Mark 16:15-16, "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."

Yes, Jesus told his followers to go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

The next verse lets us know why we need to do what Jesus commanded us to do.

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved.

Saved from what?

Saved from sin.  And, saved from spending eternity in Hell, after their life here on earth, ends.

The following part of verse 16, confirms to us, that he that believeth not shall be damned.

Unbelievers will spend eternity in Hell, separated from God.  With no chance of escape.  No chance to leave Hell, and spend eternity with God.

So, my friend... if you haven't yet come to Christ, do so, today.  Tomorrow, may be too late.

Until next time...
