He Will!

Once again, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'm letting you know I will be going to spend time with my church family.

Being SONday, I'll be heading to meet with those who will be attending our Bible study/Adult Sunday school class.  Then, we will worship, together.

Like normal, I'll be sharing some music and lyrics with you.

The hymn I'm sharing with you, is one that we sang last SONday, on Father's Day!

It is written by Fredrick William Faber and is entitled, Faith of Our Fathers.  Here is a link for you to be able to listen and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oq5OvNvb-S4.  The lyrics are below.

Faith of Our Fathers

Faith of our fathers, living still,
In spite of dungeon, fire and sword;
Oh how our hearts beat high with joy
Whenever we hear that glorious word!

Faith of our fathers, holy faith!
We will be true to Thee 'til death.

Faith of our fathers, we will strive
To win all nations unto Thee;
And through the truth that comes from God,
We shall all then be truly free.

Faith of our fathers, holy faith!
We will be true to Thee 'til death.

Faith of our fathers, we will love
Both friends and foe in all our strife;
Then preach Thee, too, as love knows how
By friendly words and virtuous life.

Faith of our fathers, holy faith!
We will be true to Thee 'til death.

We will be true to Thee 'til death.

Just as the lyrics say, those of us who belong to Him, will be true to Him, 'til death.

We need to be true to Him.

After all, He loves us.  And, He guides us.

Just as we read, in Psalm 48:14, "For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death."

How grateful I am that God is my God.  And, will be forever, and ever.

How grateful I am that He guides us.  Even unto death.

Of course, in order to belong to Him, you must be trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

My friend, if you are trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ... then you are saved.  You've gained salvation.

For this, I am truly grateful.  For, this means that one day, I'll meet you... either here on earth, or in Heaven.

If you haven't yet began trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, then please... do so today.  Tomorrow, may be too late.

Until next time..
