Brethren...

From time to time, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I mention that I've received e-mails that I want to share with you.  Today is one of those days.

The e-mail I received today was from The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ).  Here is what it said:

Lynn,

No evidence at all.

The trial of Pastors Michael and Peter is continuing in Sudan.

Sudanese prosecutors have presented no credible evidence to substantiate the trumped-up charges against them.

So why are they in shackles in solitary confinement in one of Sudan’s most dangerous prisons?

Their unwavering faith in Jesus Christ.

They are being denied justice—their families and attorney denied visitation rights.

They could face inadequate nutrition. Their lives hang in the balance.

This is why we continue to mobilize all of our international resources to ensure their freedom.

You spoke up for Mariam Ibraheem who was freed from death row.

Pastors Michael and Peter need you to speak up for them, for justice.

Sign Our Petition: Free Christian Pastors Michael and Peter.

ACLJ Chief Counsel

In the past, I've shared e-mail regarding Pastor Saeed, who is also being held by Muslims, in a prison.  Just for being a Christian.

Hopefully, you signed the petition that was linked for Pastor Saeed, in the past.

Now, I pray you will click on the petition, and sign it so that you can help pastors Michael and Peter be released from being imprisoned in Sudan.  I thank you, my friend.  May God bless you.

In addition to signing the petition, I hope you will pray for the release of Michael, Peter, pastor Saeed, and in fact all Christians, who are being persecuted for their faith.

We may not truly know what each of these siblings in the Lord are asking of us.

In my heart, I believe each would ask us to pray for them.  In so many ways.

God seems to have confirmed this, in 1 Thessalonians 5:25, "Brethren, pray for us."

Please know that I pray for all who are being persecuted.  And, for others.  Including you.

Hopefully, you do the same.

May God bless each and every Christian who is being held in a prison, simply for being a Christian.  May it be His will for each and every person being held like this, to be released... while they are still healthy.

And, if you do pray for others, may God bless you.

Until next time...
