Beloved...

If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) a couple of days ago, you'll know that I spoke with a retired pastor, who is part of my church family, after our worship service ended.

Then, I made my way to visit with my eldest grandson, T... and his family.

T had phoned me and let me know that he and his family had moved from my daughter B's home.  He seemed happy that they had found a good place to rent.

When T originally gave me the address, it resonated in my mind.  I wondered if it was the home that was on my mind.

As I drove up to the house, I realized that it was definitely the home I had been thinking of.

You see, many years ago, I had a friend who was a fellow Realtor, here in Windsor.  However, she left Canada, after marrying an American.

Being friends, she asked me to list an investment property she owned.  She had decided to sell it.  So, I listed it.

After a short time of the house being on the market, she let me know she didn't want to have it listed any longer.  Instead, she wanted to sell it to her brother.  So, she did.

It amazed me how similar it looked inside, even though it had been many, many years since I had been inside that house.

Even so, I was happy for T and his family.  And, enjoyed my visit with them.  Especially, seeing my great-granddaughter S, who was born in January.

I'm sure you can tell that I love T and his family.

Thinking of loving, reminded me of 1 John 4:7, "Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God."

I love those, who God has brought to my heart.

My grandson T, and his family.  My daughters and their families, including my other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  One (1) I have not seen in a long time, and another that I have never seen.

I also love other relatives, who I rarely get to see.  And, friends, too.

After all, love is so very important.  And, is proof that I belong to God.

Do you belong to God?

Are you one of His children?

The only way you can say 'yes', is to know that you are trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.  For, there is nothing that you, yourself... can do to gain salvation.

So, my friend... I pray that if you have not yet come to Christ, that you will do so, today.  For, tomorrow... may not exist, for you.

Until next time...
