Asking... Please!

In yesterday's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, I let you know about John Mercer.  Something else happened that you should know about.

Late on Tuesday evening, John Mercer messaged me on Facebook (FB). 

He let me know he was in terrible pain.  You see, he doesn't have anything strong for pain relief.  He only has a common pain reliever that can be found on the shelves of any pharmacy/drug store.

John Mercer also let me know that he could hardly breathe.  He told me that he felt like his chest was being crushed.  And, his throat and face was swelling.

Oh my!  This reminded me of what happened with my now deceased husband Gordon, when he was taking a drug that we found he was allergic to.

While I didn't panic, I did feel stressed.  After all, I don't live anywhere near where John Mercer lives in South Carolina, USA!

I let John Mercer know that I believed he needed to go to the hospital.

He pressed the button he was wearing and let me know help would come.  After about 15 or 20 minutes, I suggested he call 9-1-1 for an ambulance to come, in case the button system wasn't working. 

Eventually, an ambulance did arrive.

John Mercer was taken to a hospital quite a distance from where he lives.  Eventually, he messaged me.

I praise God that I found out he was okay.  He sent me a 'self-pic' of himself, hooked up with all sorts of systems.

I praise God that he was being treated and tested.  And, had been given something extremely strong for pain.

Eventually, he rested up.

Wednesday morning, I heard from John Mercer, again. 

He had been released from hospital.  However, he wasn't able to go home.  He had to see his surgeon.

Later, John Mercer let me know that his surgeon told him that the cancer had spread.  Apparently, he has more tumours/tumors.  And, will have surgery, if the chemotherapy treatments help him.

For this, I prayed for him.  After all, God supplies everything for us, that we need.

Like we read, in Philippians 4:19, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

God isn't just my God.  He's also John Mercer's God.  For John Mercer is a brother in the Lord, who is trusting/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

He also let me know that he is a songwriter/singer... and is scheduled to honour/honor God in a tent revival.  Will he be able to do this for God?  Only God knows.

As you can see, John Mercer, truly needs healing.  And, encouragement/support.

My friend, again I am asking that you pray for him.  And, if you are on FB, please become a FB friend to him.

I truly believe it would be a blessing to John Mercer.  And, to you, my friend.
