In yesterday's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, Good Friday was discussed. Plus, the crucifixion of our Lord, Jesus Christ, who gave His life to fulfill God the Father's plan of redemption for us.
To me, for another reason in my life, today is also a special day.
Even though today's date, is not the date of when I was married to my deceased husband, Gordon, it is a special day to me. For we were married on the Saturday of Easter weekend.
Thinking about how much love is represented this weekend, I decided to share a video about a couple who truly love each other, by Jubilee Project and is entitled, Blind Devotion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_99ySDoC1fw&t=518.
I must admit that when I first saw this film, I was reminded about how I loved my now deceased husband Gordon, who I married on a weekend like this one.
I pray that you enjoyed the video and watched it.
If you did, you'd see what happens when someone truly loves their spouse. Much like I did, when Gordon wasn't well.
Here's something else to watch. This video is one that I adore!
It's a short video by Pastor Mark Driscoll of Mars Hill Church, and it's entitled, You Are in Danger. Here is a link for you to watch/listen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XicnbW06fbk&feature=player_embedded.
Hopefully, you adore this video as much as I do.
The message is clear. Jesus is the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father, but by Jesus.
Just as we read, in John 14:6, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
Please know that I truly pray for you.
I pray that if you have not yet already begun to trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, you will, today.
We are not guaranteed, tomorrow.
Not me. Not my husband who died.
Nor, anyone else.
My friend, believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved (Acts 16:31).
Until next time...
