Yesterday, here on LwL, I let you know that I have not been well.

Today, I thought I would update the info and ask you for prayer.  However, I won't be updating you.

Still, I will ask for prayer.  Not just for me.

Also, for my friend A, who called me yesterday afternoon.  A called me from the hospital emergency room (ER), to let me know that she had received a phone call from her physician.

Apparently, she was told that her blood test results showed she needed transfusions.  She was told to go to ER to receive blood transfusions.

In the evening, her son A, who we call D... called me to let me know that his mom, was going to stay overnight at the hospital.  He seemed very concerned.  I'm glad we spoke.

Friend, please pray for A.  I thank you for this.  May God bless you...

There is also a few other people we all need to be praying for.

Pastor Saeed is in need of prayer.  So, are some other people, who are also being held in prison.  Just, for being Christian.

Yesterday, I received another e-mail from Jay Seculow, chief counsel for the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ).  Here is what it said:

Lynn,

We have about 48 hours.

Congress is considering legislation on the nuclear deal with Iran.

We have a small window of time to get an amendment passed legally requiring Pastor Saeed's release before any deal with Iran is finalized.

Pastor Saeed – a U.S. citizen – and three other Americans are being wrongfully held hostage in Iran. We can’t leave them behind.

It’s simple. No deal unless the Americans come home.

We’re working directly with a number of Senators on these critical amendments, but we need your voice now.

Already more than 150,000 have signed our petition, but Pastor Saeed needs you.

Tell your Senators to pass these amendments to legally demand Iran release Pastor Saeed now. We can’t miss this critical moment.

Pastor Saeed's suffering for his Christian faith. He deserves to be home. Be his voice now.

Sign Our Critical Petition to Congress to Bring Saeed Home.

Jay Sekulow
ACLJ Chief Counsel

Please know that it breaks my heart that people are being imprisoned by Muslims.  Just because these people are Christians.

These Christians are being persecuted for their faith.  And, are suffering, too.

Now, you can understand why I am asking for you to pray.  Thank you.  May God bless you!

Pray for those who are in need of healing.  Pray for those who are being persecuted or their faith.

Please, make sure that when you pray, you will pray in Jesus' name.

Just as He told us to do, in John 14:14, "If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it."

Does this mean He will do anything that anyone requests?  No.

What Jesus said, was to/for those who are trusting in/believing upon Him.

Hopefully, you... who belong to Him, understand that when we pray, we need to pray in Jesus' name.

Please, join me in prayer, now...

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you on bended knees, because You are our awesome God, who loved us so much that You sent Your only begotten Son to die for the sin of the world, of all who will believe upon Him, our Lord, Jesus Christ.  We know that You have the ultimate love, that we can only receive from You.  We are asking for healing for those we know, love and care for, who are in need of what You can give them.  We are also asking that You will have any/all people released from prison, who are there only because they are Christians.  We praise You, and thank You in advance.  We pray and ask this in Jesus' precious name.  Amen.

Until next time...
