Hopefully, you read yesterday's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry.
If so, you know that I participated after our Sunrise Resurrection Day/Easter Sunday worship service. And later, shared time with my church family when we enjoyed breakfast, together. Then later, participated in our Bible study/Adult Sunday school class.
Did this mean that our worshipping was finished for the day? Absolutely, not!
At the normal time of 11:00 a.m., we had our normal worship service.
We worshipped God in spirit and in truth. And through music, like we normally do.
Of course, we had some people join us, who had never before attended. Much like what happens from time to time.
Afterwards, we all went to our fellowship room, once again.
I think you probably know why. We spent time together.
We enjoyed a delicious pot-luck luncheon!
It was truly a time of blessing. Time to enjoy each other's company, once again.
Thinking about how much worship had been done that day, truly makes me feel wonderful.
This means that my church family is truly committed to our Lord.
Praise God! Hallelujah!
After all, we need to fear God. We need to give glory to Him. Always.
Just as we read, in Revelation 14:6-7, "And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters."
Yes, just as you read in today's verses, God has told us what will happen in the future. And, He has made it clear what He wants us to do.
So, we must fear God. We must give glory to Him.
Just as we read in this prophetical Word of God, the hour of judgement will come.
We need to worship.
As much as possible. After all, He made Heaven, and earth. He made the sea, the waters.
And, He made us.
Hopefully, you have gained salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.
If you haven't, you won't see Heaven. Instead, when your life here on earth ends, you'll be separated from God. You'll be in Hell, after your judgement time. And, will not be able to ever change what your future will be.
If you have, then I'll look forward to seeing you in Heaven, one day. After all, when we who are saved go through judgement, we won't suffer for our sin, the way unsaved people do. Instead, we will be blessed for all we have done here on earth, for God.
May God bless you.
Until next time...
