Men? God!

If you read yesterday's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, you'll know I discussed about what recently happened, in Libya.

Well, today... I'll be discussing what is happening, here.  In Canada.  In Ontario.  In fact, in my city... Windsor.

We in Canada have many immigrants.  Is this a problem?  No.  Not really.

After all, my family and yours also may have moved here from other countries.

However, at that time, were any people's lives at risk due to having immigrants come to live in Canada?  Not that I am aware of.

Not like, today.

Before I go further into this topic, I would like to let you know that I recently found out some information about my province of Ontario.  Information that I shocked me in some ways, yet confirmed to me what is truly happening, today.

I need to say that I haven't confirmed this info that I'll be letting you know.  However, I do believe the person who told me about this, received it from a source that speaks truth.

Here in Ontario, we have many, many, many immigrants.

This is what I was told:

*  43% of Buddhists here in Canada, live in Ontario.

*  55% of Muslims here in Canada, live in Ontario.

*  73% of Hindus here in Canada, live in Ontario.

What does this mean?  To me, this means that we have many immigrants!

Is this bad?  As I said before, not really.

After all, our country is like a melting pot for people with many different backgrounds.

Does this mean that all immigrants today, become like current and previous fellow Canadians?  Immigrants who changed their lifestyles to merge into the living conditions, here in Canada?  No.

Especially, not Muslims.

When I lived in Brampton, I saw that over the years, things had changed.  Many Hindu people live there.  Are they dangerous?  Not that I'm aware of.

In various areas people who are Buddhists can be found.  In fact, I have a fellow realtor who has been my friend since we both began working together in 1988.  She is Buddhist.  Although, I must say... her daughter and family are now Christian.  Are Buddhists dangerous?  Not that I am aware of.

In fact, many other religions are peaceful in nature.  And, accept the fact that not everyone needs to be part of their religious group.

Here in Ontario, more than half the number of Muslims in Canada, are living here.  Are they like other immigrants?

Did they enter Canada, to join into the melting pot, to become Canadians?  No.  It seems they want Canada to change; not themselves.

Muslims wants to change us.  Not themselves.  Not like other immigrants who keep their religion, yet accept their lifestyle change.

Are they dangerous?  I'm not saying each and every one of them are, for I believe they aren't; at least, not at this time.

That doesn't mean that their group, that they claim is a religion instead of an ideology, isn't.  I believe it is.  Dangerous.

After all, our Canadian government has stopped some Muslims from doing treacherous activities, here.  For this, I am thankful.

We have also seen and been told on news broadcasts that some Muslims have left Canada, to go help out with ISIS.

Does this mean we can have a relaxed view of Islam?  Not in my opinion.

Those who were here in Canada and left to help kill others overseas, had to have been educated to do so, here in my country.

Is this a problem?  Yes.  But, not as large a problem as it will become, in the future.

As I've said before, Islam is the fastest growing group in the world.

Not just here in Canada.  Or, in my province.  But, also in my city.  Windsor.

Many schools have been sold to Islamic groups.  Some are being used for education.  Some are being used for centres where people gather.

Many churches have been sold to Islamic groups.

Are you shocked?  I'm not.  I see it, in various areas.

In fact, I found out recently that Lincoln Road United Church, was sold to an Islamic group.

Where is Lincoln Road United Church located?  Around the corner, and only about a half block distance from where I worship, at Walkerville Evangelical Baptist Church.

Does this mean I am afraid?  No.  I'm not.

Even though some people might be nervous, I believe that we need to stand in faith... in the power of God.

Much like the Apostle Paul wrote, in 1 Corinthians 2:1-5, "And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.
For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.
And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God."

Some know more than others about people.  About groups.  About Islam, even.

The only thing that makes me concerned, is the fact that Islam is the fastest growing group, in the world.

I won't call it a religion, for it is not truly only a religion.  It is an ideology.

Meaning, that it is a group of people looking to take over the world.  And, change it to suit them, as they have been taught.

As I've said in the past, we need to plant seeds for Christ.  To all unbelievers, who are not Christian.

Why?  To change the world?

Not really.  It's more to be obedient to what God called us to do.

Don't believe me?  Read His Word, the Bible.  You'll see this is the truth.

What can we do, as things seem to be changing?  Meaning, not just here on earth in various countries, but rather, here in my country, province and city.

We need to stand in faith.  And, pray.

Not in the wisdom of man.  But, rather... in the power of God.

Hopefully, you'll join me, as I do this.

Thank you.  May God bless you.

Until next time...
