Living...

I'm sure you're not surprised, that here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'm letting you know I am going to spend time with my church family.  After all, today is our Lord's Day!

Just like other SONdays, I will enjoy our Bible study/Adult Sunday school class.  And, our worship service!

After writing recently about how we need to stand in the power of God, and not in the faith of man, I thought I would share with you a hymn that we sung last week, during our worship service.

It is by Ralph E. Hudson and C.R. Dunbar.  It's entitled, I'll Live for Him.  Here's a link for you to listen to and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBr8E76H90Y.  The lyrics are below.

I'll Live for Him

My life, my love I give to Thee,
Thou Lamb of God Who died for me;
O may I ever faithful be,
My Savior and my God!

I’ll live for Him Who died for me,
How happy then my life shall be!
I’ll live for Him Who died for me,
My Savior and my God!

I now believe Thou dost receive,
For Thou hast died that I might live;
And now henceforth I trust in Thee,
My Savior and my God!

I’ll live for Him Who died for me,
How happy then my life shall be!
I’ll live for Him Who died for me,
My Savior and my God!

O Thou Who died on Calvary,
To save my soul and make me free,
I’ll consecrate my life to Thee,
My Savior and my God!

I’ll live for Him Who died for me,
How happy then my life shall be!
I’ll live for Him Who died for me,
My Savior and my God!

If you listened to the link I shared for you, you'll know that this YouTube video was very different than what I normally use.  Being someone who enjoys singing a capella (without music), I enjoyed that duet who sang the way I like to.

Is this why I used this link?  No.  It was because I didn't find a link with music and singing, with lyrics to share with you.

Even so, I pray you enjoyed it.

I know I did.  After all, we sang it last week during our worship service, as I said.

Like the lyrics say, I'll live for Him, Who died for me... my Saviour and my God!

Thinking of this, reminded me of John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Salvation is truly a gift of God!  A gift that gives believers everlasting life!

His gift, being a plan of redemption that was fulfilled by our Lord, Jesus Christ, when He paid the price for my sin, and for the sin of the world, of all who will believe.

This was God's plan, for me... to live.  And, for you... if you are trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ for your salvation.

My friend, I pray you are saved.

If not, I'll never see you when our lives end, here on earth.  For if you are not saved, you'll spend eternity in Hell, separated from God.  With no chance for change, or escape.

However, if you are saved, I'll be happy to see you.  So that together we can honour and glorify Him, in Heaven!

Until next time...
