I Love Thee...

Once again, I'm letting you know here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) that I am heading to go spend time with my church family!

Like normal, I'm heading to join the Bible study class.  A class we call, Adult Sunday school.

Then, afterwards I'll worship with my church family and hopefully others, too.

Worship is so important to me.  And, to God.

He expects us to worship in spirit.  And, in truth.

My church family and I do this.  Plus, we worship through music.

Today, I'm sharing a hymn by William Featherston entitled, My Jesus, I Love Thee.  Here is a link so you can listen and/or sing along:

My Jesus, I Love Thee

My Jesus, I love Thee, I know Thou art mine;
For Thee all the follies of sin I resign.
My gracious Redeemer, my Savior art Thou;
If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus, ’tis now.

I love Thee because Thou hast first loved me,
And purchased my pardon on Calvary’s tree.
I love Thee for wearing the thorns on Thy brow;
If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus, ’tis now.

(This verse was not recorded:)
I’ll love Thee in life, I will love Thee in death,
And praise Thee as long as Thou lendest me breath;
And say when the death dew lies cold on my brow,
If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus, ’tis now.

In mansions of glory and endless delight,
I’ll ever adore Thee in heaven so bright;
I’ll sing with the glittering crown on my brow;
If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus, ’tis now.

My Jesus, 'tis now...

I must say that I love Jesus.

I believe that Jesus knows I love Him.

After all, He loved us first.

Just as we read, in 1 John 4:19, "We love him, because he first loved us."

Jesus loved us so very much!

So much, that He came to earth to fulfill God the Father's plan of redemption for us.

So much, that He came to earth, knowing that He would suffer, in many ways.  For us.

So much, that He chose to fulfill prophecy, even though He could have changed His mind, and left this world, without paying the price for the sin of the world... of all who will believe.

How I praise Him for this.

How I love Him.  And, always will!

Do you love Jesus?

Are you trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ?

If not, you need to come to Christ.  For, if you don't, when your life here on earth ends, you will suffer for eternity, separated from God, in Hell... with no chance of escape.  No chance of changing your future.

If so, I am thankful.  For if you are trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, then I will one day see you in Heaven.

What a blessing!  Thank You, Jesus!

I love Thee...

Until next time...
