Your Choice...

If you read yesterday's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, you'll know that I experienced a health issue.  One that I have had for many a year, that began as a result of being injured, while working.

Rolly Marentette of Injured Workers' Coalition (IWC) recently was given an award for helping injured workers.  Here's a link on IWC that shows Rolly Marentette receiving his award:

To me, this was a very nice thing for Rolly Marentette.  Congratulations, Rolly!  I'm grateful you were appreciated!

Some people do things to help others in need.  For this... and for them, I praise God!

By e-mail, I received a link to a video that was made of people helping homeless people, who were eating at a homeless shelter.  Here is the link; it's by Prank It Fwd. on Devour.comhttp://devour.com/video/prank-it-fwd/

If you watched this video, you'll know that some people were helped!  And, more can be helped in the future, if you share this video with other people.

Meanwhile, here in life, today there are many who are continuing to suffer on a daily basis.

Here is an article by Global News entitled, Disabled veteran facing 'biggest battle' of his life in suit against Fedshttp://globalnews.ca/news/1708005/disabled-veteran-facing-biggest-battle-of-his-life-in-suit-against-feds/.

Hopefully, your heart is similar to mine.  What this injured soldier is going through, breaks my heart.

After all, injured soldiers are basically, injured workers.  Workers for our government's protection organization, if you want to think of it in that context.

And, what upsets me also, is the fact that employers are being rewarded by WSIB, for not having every injured worker, apply to WSIB.

Yet, injured workers continue to suffer, in many ways.  Not just physically, but also financially, too.

To me, the best part isn't being hurt.  It's being loved by God, who has given us direction in what we need to do.

Just as we read, in 1 Peter 5:6-11, "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen."

To me, being loved by my Lord, is absolutely needed.  After all, He will strengthen you, if you belong to Him.

Do you belong to Him?

If you do, you'll be reading God's Word, the Bible.  And, will come to realize that we all will suffer in this world.

And, you'll realize that we must be thankful in all things.  Even the worst things that happen in our lives.

If you do, you'll be aware that God's grace gives us that strength, received through trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Jesus, to Him, be glory and dominion, for ever and ever.

Are you trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ?

If not, you'll suffer in an even greater way... for eternity, without any chance of changing your existence.

But, if you do what God would have you do, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, then you will be blessed for eternity.  And, will receive help from our God, to get you through this life.

The choice is yours.

Until next time...
