Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), there are times when I feel I need to ask for prayer. Today, is one of those days.
Please, pray for me. Thank you. May God bless you...
You're probably wondering why I need prayer.
Well, over the last while, I've been around many, many people with colds, viruses, etc. Even people who have invited me to see them.
Oh well. What can I say?!
I don't have any control over what happens. Or, what makes me sick, physically.
To be honest, it's been quite a while since I was sick due to becoming contagiously ill.
When I went through all the illness over the last 2 1/2 years and repeated surgeries, I was told that it was all due to a tiny amount of infected mesh inside me. Even though I had much, much mesh inside me, that tiny amount of infection could have ended my life... before that infected mesh, and all the rest of the mesh inside me was removed. And, I was reconstructed.
It obviously wasn't God's plan, for me. To die, I mean.
If it had been, I would have been long gone!
His plan was obviously for me to remain here on earth. And, continue doing work for Him, as I've been doing for many a day.
Do I know His plan for my life? Absolutely, not!
He's the only person who knows His plan for my life. Or, for yours.
But, His plans are good for us, who are His children.
Just as He told us in Jeremiah 29:11 NIV, ' "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." '
How wonderful it is, to know that our Lord has plans for us. Plans to prosper us, and not harm us. Plans to give us hope and a future.
For this, I will always praise God! Thank You, Lord!
Thank You, for promising me good things.
Thank You, for loving me.
Thank You, for saving me.
Thank You, for providing for me... always.
Thank You, for sending Your only begotten Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ to earth, to suffer. To die on a wooden cross, for the sin of the world... of all who will believe.
There is so much to be thankful for!
I pray you are thankful, too. If not, and if you are not yet saved by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, then you won't be thankful when you spend eternity in Hell, separated from God... with no chance of escape.
If you are thankful, and are saved, then... I'll look forward to seeing you, in Heaven... for eternity.
Until next time...
