In Deed And...

On Life with Lynnie (LwL), from time to time I discuss issues that relate to e-mails I've received.  Today, is one of those days.

Yesterday, I once again received an e-mail from American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ).  Here is a copy of what I received:

Lynn,

Did you know America sends billions of dollars to Pakistan, a country that sentences Christians to death?

Did you know America is negotiating with Iran, a country that brutally imprisons Christians?

Did you know America is not doing all it can to defeat ISIS - the Islamic State - that continues to slaughter Christians?

But did you also know that Congress can change that?

In two days, I will testify before the Senate about what Congress can do to protect persecuted Christians.

We have this unique opportunity to send a powerful message to Congress: America can and must do more to protect the persecuted Church.

Our brothers and sisters in Christ are suffering. They're being martyred for their faith.

We must not be silent.

Stand with me as I testify for persecuted Christians in Congress. We need to hear from 50,000 of you in the next two days.

Sign Our Urgent Petition: Protect Persecuted Christians Today.

Jay Sekulow
ACLJ Chief Counsel

Please know this:  I had already written a LwL entry for today.  Instead of posting it today, I will be posting it, tomorrow.

Why?

Because, I agree with Jay Sekulow, from ACLJ.

I believe we all need to speak up, and not be silent. (You'll be shocked to read what I wrote for the entry I'll be posting tomorrow, instead of today!)

I signed the petition.  Hopefully, you have/will, also.

Knowing that time is short for anyone to sign the petition, and/or speak up, I knew I had to post this, today.

We all need to speak up.  And, speak truth.

Just as we read, in 1 John 3:18, "My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth."

Please... speak up.  Speak out.  Speak truth.

By doing so, you will be blessed by God, for being obedient to Him.

Of course, this verse is directed to His... little children.  Are you one of His children?

You are definitely one of His creations.  But, have you become one of His children?

The only way you will know for sure, is if you have come to Christ.  By trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, you are not only saved, but you have become obedient.  For, this is what God would have you do.

Don't believe me?

Read His Word.  The Bible.

Time doesn't go on forever.  Especially, in this life.

So, do it, today.

Read your Bible.  Come to Christ, if you already haven't done so.

And, sign this petition.

Help those, who are being persecuted for their faith.

If you do, you'll be blessed.

Until next time...
