Fun... And...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), on Mondays I usually let you know I went to church the day before, on SONday.  Today, I'll be saying the same thing.

However, in addition, I also went to spend time with my church family, on Saturday evening.  Well, at least with some of my church family.

The women!

We had a special women's night.  A comedy women's night!

The female comedian, happened to be a friend of our pastor's wife, L.

I must admit, the lady was truly funny.  She made laughter fill the fellowship room!

I'd like to say that I didn't sit alone.

You see, I had three (3) friends attend with me, who do not worship at Walkerville Evangelical Baptist Church.  They worship elsewhere!

Having friends attend this church function with me, truly made me feel good.

In fact, it gave me peace, just thinking about how we are all truly family.  God's family.

Thinking of this, reminded me of Colossians 3:15, "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful."

Yes, being with my church family, and friends, who are Christian sisters in the Lord, made me feel good.  And, gave me peace.  Not just because we spent fellowship time, together.

It also made me feel thankful.

Thankful to be able to spend time with everyone, there.  Thankful to be able to have a time of laughter and fun.

Thankful to be able to hear a gospel message made.

For this, I am truly thankful.  After all, those of us who are saved are all part of the body of Christ.

Who would have known if an unsaved person may have attended?  In advance, only God would have known.

Someone may have needed to hear a gospel message.  This is truly something only God knows.

But, God provides for us.  And, for those who He knows He's leading to Christ.

Are you being led to Christ?

Hopefully, so.  For if you are not already saved, God has a plan for your life.

To some, the plan may not be good.

The best plan of course, would be for you to become saved.  To become one of His children.

Know this... if you are not already saved, I will pray for you.  For, every person on the face of this earth, needs to become saved, in order to become on of God's children.

And, His children will spend eternity with Him.

For this, I am thankful.  And, always will be.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
