Terror, Murder & Humbleness...

In yesterday's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, I discussed ISIS/ISIL.

Unfortunately, some people believe I shouldn't speak up regarding Islam and the trouble we in the world, are having with it.  Even though some people think ISIS/ISIL haven't got anything to do with Islam, I believe they are wrong.

After all, anyone/everyone participating with ISIS/ISIL are Muslim.  Muslims who truly believe what the Qur'an teaches.  And, are attacking in various parts of the world, just the way they are taught.

On Tuesday this week, CBC News, here in Canada talked about what was happening, recently.  I saw it on the television (TV).  And later, found it online.

Here is a link to an article they posted online entitled, Terrorism-related charges laid against Ottawa men with alleged ISIS tieshttp://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/terrorism-related-charges-laid-against-ottawa-men-with-alleged-isis-ties-1.2943313.

If you take the time to read it, you'll see that what I've been saying in the past, is happening, in reality.  There are people here, who are virtually terrorists.  Some born into Islamic families, and some who converted to Islam.  And, charges are being laid.

Praise God!  After all, our government has finally reached the point where they are standing up/speaking out, and making various efforts to protect us.  Hallelujah!

Something else I saw on the CBC News, was a horrible story.

Here is a link to the online version posted by them entitled, Muath al-Kaseasbeh, ISIS hostage, purportedly burned alivehttp://www.cbc.ca/news/world/muath-al-kaseasbeh-isis-hostage-purportedly-burned-alive-1.2943229.

Unfortunately, that Jordanian pilot's F-16 plane crashed near Raqqa, Syria, and the Lt. Muath al-Kaseasbeh fell into the militant hands of ISIS.

Even though he was Jordanian, he was tortured with soaked with gasoline, and set on fire.  This was done while he was alive.  He was burned, to death.

Some people are trying to say that it proves that ISIS is just a group of terrorists affecting the world, and are not focused on Islam and what it teaches about killing infidels (non-Muslims).

That my friends, is not true.

In fact, ISIS/ISIL, and other terrorist groups are in fact, seriously focused on Islam.  And, the teachings of the Qur'an and other of their holy books/teachings.

It's easy for Muslims to try and say it is not the case.  Especially, when they don't want to be blamed for having any part in the problem the world is facing.

But, Islam is the problem.

Their holy teachings are recognized and accepted by those terrorist groups, who have a sever focus on what they have been taught.  Not just are they instructed to kill anyone refusing to become Muslim, but they are also taught to kill anyone who is not supporting them.  Even if that person is Muslim.

What can we do?

Well, our government here in Canada is stepping up to the plate in a strong way, to help protect us Canadians.  For this I am thankful.

As Christians, we need to humble ourselves, and pray.

Just as we read, in 2 Chronicles 7:14, " If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

We need to humble ourselves, pray, and seek His face.  We need to turn from our wicked ways.  Then, He will hear from Heaven will forgive our sin... and heal our land.

Yes, our land needs healing.

Just as we can see in everyday life.  And, on the news.

But, in order to be healed, we need to have forgiveness for our sin.  In order to receive this from Him, we need to turn from wicked ways.  Ways that promote sin in our generational society.

So please, pray.  Plant seeds for Christ.  And, do what you can to help others understand that there is much sin in today's society.

Sin in today's society, that needs to stop, and be turned away from, in order for us as a group to receive forgiveness and have our land healed.

For this, I will continually pray.  May you join me, my friend.  For if you do, you will be blessed.

Until next time...
