Talk About Deep, Deep Love!

Even though today on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I will once again let you know I'm going to worship, I want to say that this weekend, and even this month, is mainly about love.

Love... is so very important to people.  For sure, in many ways.  Not just the way humans mainly think about it as being.

Thinking about honouring and glorifying our Lord through music, I came across some music I thought was so very important to us.

I must admit that I am not sure who wrote it.  One source says it is Todd Wilson Agnew, while another source says it is by Samuel Trevor Francis & Bob Kauflin

No matter what the truth is, here is a link for Oh the Deep, Deep Love, so you can listen to and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPXapfFfesA.  The lyrics are below.

Oh the Deep, Deep Love

Oh, the deep, deep love of Jesus
Vast, unmeasured, boundless, free
Rolling as a mighty ocean
In its fullness over me

Underneath me, all around me
Is the current of Thy love
Leading onward, leading homeward
To Thy glorious rest above

(
Not recordedOh, the deep, deep love of Jesus
Deeper than the deepest sea
The love that led my Christ to die
Is the love that set me free)

Oh, the deep, deep love of Jesus
Spread His praise from shore to shore
How He loveth, ever loveth
Changeth never, nevermore

How He watches o'er His loved ones
Died to call them all His own
How for them He's interceding
Watcheth o'er them from the throne

(
Not recordedOh, the deep, deep love of Jesus
Deeper than the deepest sea
The love that led my Christ to die
Is the love that set me free)

Oh, the deep, deep love of Jesus
Love of every, love the best
Tis an ocean vast a blessing
Tis a haven sweet of rest

Oh, the deep, deep love of Jesus
Tis a heaven of heavens to me
And it lifts me up to glory
For it lifts me up to Thee

(
Not recordedOh, the deep, deep love of Jesus
Deeper than the deepest sea
The love that led my Christ to die
Is the love that set me free
That set me free)

Oh, the deep, deep love of Jesus... is greater than anything else in this world.

After all, Jesus is our way to Heaven.

Just as we read, in John 14:6, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

Jesus was honest with us.  After all, He told us that He is the way, the truth and the life:  no man cometh unto the Father, but by... Him.

There is no other way, to be with God the Father, to spend eternity in Heaven.

So, my friend... if you are not yet saved, begin reading the Bible, today.  Begin with the New Testament, where you'll see God's plan of salvation for us, and how we obtain it.

It's simple.  Trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ... and you shall be saved (Acts 16:31).

Talk about love.  Deep, deep love.  This is truly it.

For this, I praise God, and thank Him!  Hallelujah!

Until next time...
