Seven Days in Utopia & I'll Be Seeing You...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), with Valentine's Day coming quickly, I can only say that love is special.

Quite a while ago, I headed to Calvary Community Church, for a movie night.

Arriving at the church, I gave my donation, received my bottle of water and container of popcorn and made my way to where I was to be seated.  Within a couple of minutes, a friend arrived.

As we talked, people were entering the room, making their way to find seats.  It seemed that we knew so-o many people, we hardly had time to talk with each other.  We were busy talking with other people!  With introductions, as well.  Of course, we were both surprised that we had some common friends, too!

The movie we watch was entitled, Seven Days in Utopia

Not wanting to spoil the ending for you, I won't tell you much about the movie.  But, I will post a LINK to Wikipedia, where you can read more about it.

To me, it was a great movie!  I enjoyed it.  It was happy, sad, and interesting.  But, the ending was exceptional.  That's all I will say about it!  lol :)  If you haven't yet seen it, make sure you do!

For some reason, the song I'll Be Seeing You, has been on my mind, lately.  It's an oldie, to say the least.  I cannot seem to stop thinking about it.

As I've said before, I do not know why I awaken with songs on my heart, but I do.  In any case, here is a Youtube link so you can hear the song, sung by Byng Crosbyhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ld7pkvZPQk.  The lyrics are below.

I'll Be Seeing You

I'll be seeing you in all the old familiar places
That this heart of mine embraces, all day through
In that small cafe, the park across the way
The children's carousel, the chestnut trees, the wishing well

I'll be seeing you in every lovely summer's day
In everything that's light and gay, I'll always think of you that way
I'll find you in the mornin' sun and when the night is new
I'll be looking at the moon but I'll be seeing you

I'll find you in the mornin' sun and when the night is new
I'll be looking at the moon but I'll be seeing you

Realizing there was a movie of the same name, where the song was played, I decided to watch it.  I cannot say I had ever seen it, previously.  If I had, I didn't recall watching this film, before.

Like most movies from that golden film era, it had a happy ending.  An ending that made me cry.  You might wonder why.  My reply would be, because real love never dies.  It never ends.

Real love always survives.  And, never dies.  Just like God.

After all, God is love.

Just as we read, in 1 John 4:16, "And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him."

Yes, God loves us.

He loves us so much, that He has provided a way of salvation.  A way, for everyone in the world to obtain it.

All a person has to do, is trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ and they shall be saved.

Thinking about love, and how romantic and loving it is to be looking at the stars in the sky, and the moon, itself... made me think about how wonderful love truly is.

God's love.  And, love that people have for each other.

This brought to mind, something I recalled from the song posted, today.

... I'll be looking at the moon, but I'll be seeing you...

Until next time...
