Today, on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be discussing a rather personal subject.

It's about how some people don't really like what I write about.

Their varied opinions, are exactly that.  Opinions.  Their opinions.

For me, the only opinion that matters is God's opinion.

He's all that matters to me.  I am not looking to please man.  Only God.

In a previous entry quite a while ago, here on LwL, I posted 2 Timothy 4:2-4, "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;  And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."

Today, I am once again quoting these Bible verses.

What we read, explains exactly why I do these things.  God instructed us to preach the Word, reprove, rebuke and exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

Why is this important to me?

Well, the truth is, I am grateful that God saved me.  The last thing I would ever want to happen, would be for someone I know, whether family, friend or foe, to spend eternity in hell.

I am not alone in this thinking.  While I may not be a professional Bible teacher/preacher, I know I've had great teaching/preaching.  And, there are many Bible preachers/teachers out there who agree with me.

However, just as we read, there will come a time when they will not endure sound doctrine.  And, shall turn away their ears from the truth...

It seems like we are living in that very time.

Please don't dismiss what I've been writing about.  Think about it.  Pray about it.

Ask God to reveal truth to you.  His truth.

In response, I'm sure He'll show you that I've been speaking the truth... in love.

Until next time...
