On Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday, I mentioned I was going to be with my church family, once again.
After less than a handful of hours sleep, I got up and got ready. Even though I got to the Bible study class a few minutes late, I was glad to be there in time for the majority of the lesson to be taught.
As our worship service began, a friend of mine, C arrived with her daughter. She also brought a friend of hers, S.
This made me truly happy!
I must admit, my pastor Tom is a very good preacher/teacher. I truly enjoyed his sermon. And, I believe our guests did, also.
Afterwards, we shared our pot-luck luncheon, with all of our guests, of which we had many!
Before S left to go home, I found out that she needs prayer. Prayer, for healing. Total, restorative healing.
Just so you know, I actually know many people who need prayer.
Some for healing. Some for problems in life. Family. And, other things.
In some ways, it is difficult to know what to pray for. But, the Holy Spirit intercedes for us.
Just as we read, in Romans 8:26, "Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered."
How wonderful it is, that we truly do not need to know what to pray for.
How wonderful it is, that God made a way for us to have help from the Holy Spirit, who intercedes for us, with groanings, which cannot be uttered.
For this I praise God! And, thank Him!
Even so, we must stay in a mode of continuous prayer.
My friend, if you can find it in your heart to join me in prayer for each person who needs being prayed for, I believe God will bless you. Thank you.
Until next time...
