From time to time, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I discuss events I attend.  Today, will be one of those days!

Last Saturday, I attended a fund-raiser at a local church.  Not where I worship, but where some friends of mine worship.

A Facebook (FB) friend of mine, D invited me.  He's the same person who invited me to sing at the Zehrs store in LaSalle, the day before Valentine's Day.

Even though I don't worship where D does, I have been there a few times.

As I said, I know a few people who worship there, including one of the owners of a store called, From the Heart, here in Windsor.  A store, that actually sells copies of the book I wrote entitled, Love Never Fails You...

Here's a link for you to click on, to find out information about the store:

I had been asked to bring copies of Love Never Fails You... to the church event, because the fund-raiser was for a young woman, who is raising funds to go on a missions trip.  And, the focus of the event was... love.

To be honest, I felt rather encouraged being asked to participate in the event.  And, thanked God for it.

The event itself was a good one.  And, featured some special people.

Here's a list of some people who participated:

Sarah Dalton.  Sarah is a wonderful singer/songwriter.  Here's a link for you to find out about her:

Trey Hill.  Trey is a good singer/rapper.  Check him out on Facebook!

Marcus Anthony Lehr.  Another good singer/rapper.  Check him out on Twitter, Facebook, and other places!

Chellzzz... who is a Christian rap artist.  Check him out here:!page2/cjg9.

The fund-raiser was good.  I'm sure it could have been better, had there been more people in attendance.

However, it happened and was a very positive event.  Praise God!

Instead of donating a portion of the sales of copies of my book, Love Never Fails You...  I donated the whole entire amount collected.  Meaning, that I not only did not make anything financially for myself, but also virtually donated each copy sold.

I did this, to show love, and commitment.

Not just for this fund-raiser.  But, also for this was a case where people were wanting to do work for God.  Just as He requires of us.

Just as we read, in 1 Peter 4:8, "And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins."

Charity is a versatile word.

It can mean giving help, sometimes in the form of money.  Just as I did that evening.

However, it also means love, when referring to it, in the Bible.

As we read, we need to have fervent love among ourselves.  Meaning... among fellow Christians.

Love shall cover a multitude of sins.  Just as we read, in today's Bible verse.

Jesus' love for us, covers a multitude of sin, for each of us who trust in/believe upon Him.  After all, His blood covers our sin, so that God cannot see our sin.

If our sin is not covered by the blood of Jesus, then God cannot look upon us.  For He cannot look upon sin, at all.

Is your sin covered by Jesus' blood?

Are you trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, for your salvation?

If you are saying... no, then you will spend eternity in Hell, separated from God.  With no chance of escape.

If you are saying... yes, then I will look forward to seeing you one day, in Heaven!

Until next time...
