Prayer Needed!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), there is something I would like to tell you about.  And, ask you to pray about.

My grandson T, became a dad on January 12th.  Nine (9) days ago.  His daughter S, looks very much like both him and her mom, S.

S is just over five pounds (5 lbs.) in size, and is so very sweet.

Yesterday, I saw her for the first time.  And, held her in my arms for close to an hour.

By the way, yesterday was also S's mom's birthday.  Once again, I wish you Happy Birthday, S! xoxo

My great-granddaughter S slept the whole time I held her.

Even when her mom, dad and I tried to wake her, she stayed asleep, so I never got to see the colour of her eyes.  T let me know she has beautiful blue eyes, though.  :)

After leaving them about 1:20 p.m., I went to do some exercise with a group of friends.  Together, we did an hour long line dancing lesson.

Arriving home, I was in absolute agony.  I took Ibuprofen for pain, and relaxed for a few minutes.  I even dozed off.

My phone rang a few times, and I was happy to have spoken with people.

All except the people I would have preferred speaking with.  Some of my family, who knew what had gone wrong.

When I went on Facebook (FB) about 9 p.m., I saw a posting that was truly upsetting to me.

Apparently, yesterday afternoon, after I left their home, my great-granddaughter S, had stopped breathing several times, over a period of about 15 minutes.  She had been taken by ambulance to hospital.

I praise God that He provided for S!

Believe me when I say I prayed for her.  In addition to my prayer, I also posted on several prayer sites on FB, asking for prayer for S.

My friend, I'm also asking you to pray for S.  After all, there is no guarantee that S is healed from whatever was ailing her.

Being only nine (9) days old now, she is not strong.  And, needs all the prayer she can receive.  Especially, from fellow believers.

Just as we read, in James 5:15, "And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him."

Prayer of faith, shall save the sick.  For this, I praise God... and am asking you, my brothers and sisters in the Lord, to pray for S.

The Lord shall raise her up, to be sure.

If any sins have been committed, they shall be forgiven.

How wonderful this is!  God loves us so very much that He provides in every aspect of life.

I thank you for praying for S, my friend.  May God bless you, lift you up, encourage you, and provide for your every need.

Until next time...
