I A W - Jan 26 - 30, 2015 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada & Prayer Needed...

There was something I wanted to discuss here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), that I thought I should do, before it is too late.  Especially, since the week in question, has changed over what transpired, last year.

It was Islamic Awareness Week (IAW), here in Windsor, Ontario, at the University of Windsor, last March 10 - 14th, 2014.  Here is a link to an online advertisement:  http://feest-ca.com/Islam-Awareness-Week-at-UWindsor-03-10.

Here in Windsor, we have Islamic grade schools.  Now, they are working towards opening high schools, in my city.

Last week, I read a notice posted on Kijiji Edmonton entitled, Islam Awareness Week 2015:  The Messenger.  Here is a link:  http://www.kijiji.ca/v-events/edmonton/islam-awareness-week-2015:-the-messenger/1045827595.   And, here is what was posted (in case you can't open the link):

What has the media taught you about Islam? How do you pronounce the words “Muslim”, “Qur’an”, and “Muhammad”? Are all Muslims terrorists? What does Islam have to say about women’s rights, environmental sustainability, and war? These are all questions you may have thought of before but may not have had an outlet to have these questions answered. Now’s your chance!

In a growing multicultural and vibrant society, it is critical to teach yourself about the various ethnic cultures and religions. It makes communicating with people easier and it is extremely important to understand other people’s world views.

Islam Awareness Week 2015: The Messenger
The Legacy of Earth's Mightiest Messenger

1) Transformer: Age of Illumination

Before Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.)* came with the message of Islam, society was ravaged by numerous injustices. Many people worshiped idols and did not respect the dignity and honour of human life. Infant daughters would be buried alive, people would fight and kill for petty reasons, and the poor would be enslaved and taken advantage of. Let us venture forth on a transformative journey and learn how the Final Messenger illuminated the world with his example and teachings, which revolutionized society as well as every generation to come.

2) Kryptonite for Corruption

When Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.)* received revelation from God, he was tasked with confronting a nation which threatened to bring the world to a hopeless state of oppression and inequality. With scarce resources and supporters, find out how he swiftly changed the corrupt
ways of the most powerful and influential people and established a methodology to extinguish social injustice for all places and times. He was truly a Kryptonite for Corruption.

3) Guardian of the Galaxies

More than 1400 years ago, Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.)* found himself chosen to be the final Prophet, after a series of Prophets were sent to humanity from its inception. These Prophets would guide humanity to their true purpose for existence and emancipate them from ignorance. Join us and explore how the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.)* fulfilled this role and became the
guardian and guide towards answering the galactically profound question, ‘what is our purpose in life’?

4) The Incredibles

The family of Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.)* were seemingly ordinary people living very simple lives. However, their extraordinary impact on societies and history continues to affect and inspire billions of people today. In addition to learning how we can pragmatically strengthen our own family units and societal values, we will delve into the lives of arguably the greatest family in history and discover what made them so incredible.

5) Justice League

Today there exist leagues in the forms of international courts and organizations that attempt to establish justice through diplomacy and other means. Most governing bodies we see today have struggled to create a system of harmony between all races, genders, ethnicities, and faiths. However, during the life of Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.)*, he successfully created a society of peace, security and stability through a strong connection with our Creator. Join us and challenge your conventional understanding of what Shariah Law is, and how it surpasses any justice league in serving the needs of humanity.

*(p.b.u.h.); ‘Peace be upon him’ is mentioned after the names of Prophets as a form of respect.

Unfortunately, Muslims here in Canada, are doing everything they can to encourage people to become Islamic.  Even though Islam isn't truly just a religion, but is actually an ideology.

Meanwhile, our Canadian soldiers have suffered.

Here in Canada, late in 2014, three (3) Canadian soldiers were shot by Muslims.  Two (2) died.  The other suffered physically, to be sure.  Emotionally?  Only he, his family and God knows, to be sure.

Our Canadian soldiers are suffering overseas, as well.

Here is an article by Huffington Post entitled, Canadian Soldiers Exchange Fire with ISIS In Iraqhttp://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/01/19/canada-isis-iraq_n_6502810.html?ncid=fcbklnkushpmg00000014.

Please don't misunderstand my reasoning for posting about this, today.  Or, ever.

It is my opinion, that since Islam is doing everything it can by using terrorism to overtake areas of the world, and while it is doing everything it can to change the world in general, and convert it to Islam, I believe they should be stopped.

No different, than what some people thought with regards to Adolf Hitler, and his Nazi regime, that attempted to do the same thing, many years ago, during WW2.

I agree with what our Canadian Prime Minister, Stephen Harper stated recently.  I've said it in the past, and will say it, again.

While we are not at war with Islam.  Islam is at war with us.

If they are not stopped, our country and various other countries in this world of ours, will be taken over.  Just as many small, poor countries in Africa had done to them in the past, and are now Islamic.  Even if it takes a much greater amount of time, for unless they are stopped, they will not give up.

Of course, it is all in God's time, when this will happen.

Just like we read, in Ecclesiastes 3:8, " A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace."

As was mentioned earlier in this entry, and in the past, while we were not at war with Islam, Islam is at war with us.  This can only mean that we are virtually, at war.

Please, pray that God will lift us up, encourage us, and provide for our every need, to be able to end the terroristic activities of those who are at war with us.

And, please... pray that any/all Muslims we come in contact with, will come to Christ, and become saved by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Until next time...
